Tyla

This was it. This was the day every little girl has dreamt of, and it was just perfect. The flowers were the perfect shade of rose and gold, the cake was perfectly straight, and my dress fit perfectly well without any last mintue adjustments to speak of. I had worked hard to keep my body in shape and the exact size I had it when I'd been to the wedding shop took my measurements months ago. Not too many people realized how difficult that was, since most women fluctuate up and down and inch or two here and there. Especially curvy women, and I had always been curvy.

"Ty are you ready? Because Cameron's mom is a mess out here, and I'm pretty sure I can't hey, is she any calmer than she is now," Toya my best friend said, putting her hands reassuringly on my shoulders as we both looked over the dress for the hundredth time.

"Yes," I nodded. "I'm ready. I can't believe I'm getting married. Standing here in this stunning dress, I don't think it's really sunk in yet," I said. "Omg what if I am getting married to fast?!" I panicked.

"Well I mean you kind of are. But hey! Believe it, girl. I'll be honest with you. I didn't see you and Cameron making it all the way through high school and actually getting to the alter without either breaking up or someone catching a case--but I'm so glad you two did. I'm happy for you," Toya said.

I turned around and hugged her tightly. Toya had been my best friend since elementary school, and I loved her like she was my sister.
