Part 2

APOV

I open my eyes and see Magnus watching me. I feel so peaceful, something I haven't felt in a while. After Sebastian's death, many meetings were held in Idris. Every adult shadowhunter was expected to attend. Because Robert was Inquisitor, the entire Lightwood family had stayed 3 weeks. It was good to be back home again.

"What time is it?" I ask groggily.

"Ten-thirty," Magnus replies, "You were tired".

"Did you get up at all?" I ask incredulously as an idea pops into my head.

"I wanted to let you sleep".

"That was so sweet. Ugh, I need coffee".

"I'll get it just move your pretty head".

I smile lightly and do as I'm told as my awesome boyfriend hops off the sofa. Now, for my plan. I slide off the couch and use my stealth rune to silently pad into the kitchen. I sneak up behind Magnus and kiss his ear. He turns in surprise and I take the opportunity to kiss his mouth. Hard. Magnus uses the counter to steady himself and bites down on my lip. I groan and knot my hands in his hair. He moves off my mouth and kisses my nose, my chin, my neck, trailing a line of hot fire down my body. I am so tempted to rip off Magnus' clothes and take him right here. But first....

"Mags. Stop," I say, gently prying his fingers of my shirt.

"What?" he asks anxiously. "Did I hurt you?"

"What? No, not at all. I haven't eaten in almost 18 hours. I'm starved".

"Oh. Of course, love," Magnus pouts a little.

"Don't worry. We have all day," I say kissing his forehead.

"Promise?"

"I promise".

"I will hold you to that promise".

I shiver in anticipation. I can't wait.
