Sweet Paul Goes Bad

chapter 5

I wasn't planning on writing today but I can't let you guys down (; haha so enjoy!

*Day before the EMA'S*

Cynthia's POV

It's been almost a week since I ran out of that hospital, it's been almost a week since I left my idols and it's been almost a week of keeping a horrible secret. I don't think I can do this forever but it's not like I have a choice. It isn't my secret so it isn't my choice to tell the world. Why was I so curious? I could have just waited, then I'd still see Paul as the sweet man everyone thinks he is. But no little Cynthia had to listen, had to put herself in problems and had to ruin her only chance of ever knowing one direction.

Today my best friend Kirsten and Emma are coming over. Kirsten apparently has the best new ever and she couldn't tell us over the phone. I'm expecting news about one direction because well that's all she ever talks about. I don't even think she could be so excited about something not one direction related.

knock knock

"Coming" I yell towards the door.

"Heyyyy girl" Kirsten beams while she hugs me.

"Hey Kirsten" I laugh. "Come in, so you can tell me the best news ever!"

"oh, I will, I will" I don't think her smile could be any bigger.

"Hey Emma you can come in too" I smile.

"I was waiting for you to ask me inside." she laughs. "It's raining so hard! This news better be amayzing she threatens towards Kirsten."

"I've got nothing to worry about you guys will be begging me to come" Kirsten says while she gives us one of her evil laughs.

Even though I don't want to show it I'm pretty curious...

Kirsten gives us a sign to follow her so Emma and I look at each other and follow Kirsten while we're trying to hide our laugh. We sit down in the living room and Kirsten starts to talk.

"So I need to tell you guys something, like the most amazing thing ever! OMG you guys will love it!" she beams.

"Well come on tell us" Emma insist.

"I'm just going to blur it out, I won three tickets to the EMA'S!" Kirsten yells.

I really don't know how my face looked but I don't think it was very...nice.

"Well well come on we can start jumping around the house now!" Kirsten still yells.

I see Emma and Kirsten yelling at each other while they're dancing and jumping around the house. If they only knew what happened last week then they would understand that I can't come. I mean they will be there and I can't see them again not now not ever. I'm trying to come up with an excuse why I can't go but before I can even think of one Kirsten pulls me on my feet and starts dancing with me. It doesn't take her long to realise I'm not really happy.

"Cynthia what's wrong, why aren't you happy?" Kirsten asks.

"I-I-I am happy, just shocked" I say with a small smile.

"Well I still have to tell you guys part two, so if you're shocked now you will be laying half dead on the ground next" Kirsten says with a grin spread over her face.

"What is it? What is it?" Emma yells for the whole neighbourhood.

"You guys better sit down because you will fall over. So besides going to the EMA'S I also won a meet and greet with one direction! Kirsten is literally screaming at this point.

"What what what what NO you're lying" Emma screams with the biggest smile ever.

"I am not!" Kirsten defends while laughing.

"So you mean we're going to the EMA'S and after that we're going to meet one direction?" I manage to croak out.

"Yes Cynthia! Our dream will come true! But remember you can have Niall but keep your hands of Liam, he's mine." Kirsten says with.. a serious face. This girl really takes stuff like this too serious.

"And Harry's mine!" Emma smiles.

I know I won't get out of this. I will have to go to the EMA'S and after that I will have to meet my idols for the first time. So I play along and try to think of all the benifits.

"Well that's settled, Niall is mine, Harry is Emma's and Liam is Kirsten's." I laugh.

"Exactly!" Kirsten and Emma say at the same time.

Harry's POV

I'm happy the EMA'S are almost over. It's not like it wasn't fun but the only thing I can think of right now is Cynthia. The girl with our secret. The boys and I performed earlier today and while we were on stage I saw Paul talking to someone on the phone. His face expression was sad and soon after the call he left. He left me and the boys alone and the only thing I could think of was that he had some kind of plan to hurt us. To my luck there hasn't happend anything since he left.

I saw a man running towards us while he gives us a sign to wait. Niall and I look at each other with a scared look but made sure no one saw it.

"Hello, you guys must be one direction" the man smiles.

"The one and only!" Louis answers.

"Then I've got some news for you guys. First of all Paul had to leave because his daughter is sick. He told me you had to wait in room five for the interviews and after that a m&g." he happily tells us.

I can see Zayn and Niall are excited to meet the fans. They always are well I am too but they are always 'extra' excited.

We all thank the man after he tells us how we're going to get home and we walk towards room five.

We've got two interviews today, that's not too bad. It's mostly Louis who gets the questios and I did expect it. He's been hanging out with this girl Elise for some days and the fans are getting crazy. It's nothing serious yet but everyone wants a story.

After the interview we wait for the fans and Louis is hiding behind the door so he can scare them. He likes joking around and well it's just his personality.

The door opens and Louis starts yelling. One of the girls runs back outside the other one slaps Louis right in the face and the last one starts screaming. But I know that voice, it can't be, can it?
