Xia and Ara (redesigns)

So hey I revamped some old OCs! I used them quite a bit during my middle school years, and I used them to make a cringeworthy comic.

Here are their old designs. I will warn you, these drawings are 3 years old.

They're quite horrible.

Anyway, here are their updated designs! Also, they are now a lesbian couple!

So behold! My first openly gay OCs!

My eyes flutter open. I see nothing but a black, starless sky. The smooth ground below me is a pure white, emitting a soft glow.

I'm not sure where I am.

I sit up, looking at my new features. My anatomy was finally correct. My hands now had defined fingers. I felt my fingers glide across my face. My head was smaller and more defined. My blonde hair was long and free-flowing, glistening in the white light. I looked... amazing.

Suddenly, I heard a familiar voice call out my name.

"Xia!" it cried desperately.

I recognize it almost immediately.

In response, I yell back her own name. "Ara!"

I break into a sprint, running through the seemingly endless void. My alert eyes are constantly on the lookout for her.

Until I freeze.

And I see her.

Her anatomy is also corrected. Her black hair now had a small purple tint, and her brown eyes glow with her usual charisma. She's wearing the same light blue outfit that I am, except for the fact that hers has an extra pair of sleeves for her two extra arms. She seemed to gain a little pudge in her redesign, but I didn't care. She looked as beautiful as ever.

"Ara!" I cry, running to her.

She dashes toward me as well.

Tears of happiness blur my vision.

It really was her.

We run into each other, immediately embracing. I hear us both weep joyfully.

She plants a passionate kiss on my forehead, all four of her arms wrapped tight around me.

When we break apart from the embrace, Ara's dark eyes look into mine, tears still flowing.

"I... I missed you so much, Xia..." she says.

I shakily nod.

"Yeah... I did too..."

I'm probably not gonna use them as often as I do with my humanoids or other OCs of the sort.

But it was so much fun to recreate them!
