A few weeks later, Amy was still raging about Sonic's absence. So, when she opened up her mail box one Sunday morning, she was greatly surprised to see a letter from him. She ran inside and tore it open. Her eyes scanned the page, and her eyes bulged at what she read.

Hey Ames,
I'm assuming you know who this is. It's time I told you where I've really been.
Sorry, I meant we.
Eggman was beating up Tails a lot, so we fired up the X-Tornado and left for the mountains. We discovered this really cool cabin. It has a huge kitchen, a theatre, a library, everything! We love it. But, not as much as I love him.
It's time I told you something else, too, so I'm just going to say it. I never loved you or will love you that way. I love Tails, and he loves me, and we're really happy together. He keeps baking me chocolate chip cookies and beating me at racing games! I don't know whether or not to be happy or annoyed about that. I'd really be happy if you would accept the fact that I love, and always will, love Tails. I see you as a sister, Amy, and nothing else.
Please don't kill me.
Tails and I decided to live in the cabin we found, so don't worry, we're fine. Tails already moved all his inventions up here. Heck, he even moved his whole hangar up here.
Look, I basically tried to kill Eggman, so I know he'll never bother you guys again. Mobius is now safe, so don't worry about a thing. You're all safe from now on. I miss my biggest fan girl, so come up and visit us soon! Tails would be jealous, but I know that deep down he wants to see you again. Tails and I's cabin is huge but standing on a mountainside next to three giant pine trees.
I'll see you on our side of the mountain.

Sincerely,

The Blue Blur, The Fastest Thing Alive, The Speedster, The Arrogant Little Blue Pincushion, The Hero of Mobius, Sonic the Hedgehog
