Chapter 1

CHAPTER ONE!

I'm married! I did it! jack placed his pale white hands around my waist and spun me around, I smiled gleefully "we did it" he whispered softly, his cold breath danced delicately over my soft skin. I slid along the laminate flooring in my converse; who says you can't wear fluffy socks and converse to your own wedding! Jacks hands rested on my hips as he guided me to the dance floor, our first dance is a about to start, will I regret letting him choose the song, instantly my favourite godley and creme song began to play as tears wept from my strong blue eyes.

'I was standing in the station

being pounded by the rain

so I sought the last compartment

of a stationary train

I felt someone get in behind me

but I never caught their eye

but I thought I heard I heard a woman's voice

whispering goodbye

So I lay down in the darkness

with the beer and coffee stains

and I stared out at the thunder

through the broken window panes

And although the storm was booming

like an engine in the sky

I'm sure I heard a woman's voice cry

So I rolled myself a cigarette

and smoked it on my own

but it didn't stop the whispers

or the smell of her cologne

Then she rose up out of nowhere

and her hair was full of steam

and she stuck her head out the window

and screamed and screamed, she screamed!

So I picked up an old newspaper to read

and I noticed something very strange indeed

So I looked a little closer

and it chilled me to the bone

"Woman throws herself from speeding train,

identity unknown"

But I recognized the picture of the woman who was dead

and underneath the picture it said

Tears continued to pour from my eyes, however once one tear had strolled down my face the rest were wiped away. i had just danced to the song that was played at my own father's funeral. my mind began to wonder, could he see me? My thoughts were interrupted by the squeal of what I thought was a child " MIA JEFFERIES IS THAT YOU?!" a member of staff squealed in my ears, "Mia broad actually and please don't squeal I don't want you to kill her ear drums" jack said politely shaking her hand, she jumped back quickly, "your hands are cold " she said sharply. "Congrandulations Blondie " he said sarcastically. The women gazed at me as I pulled the top of my dress up subconsciously."don't you remember me Mia" she spat, that's when I realised who she was, the reason I moved schools. thoughtlessly my hand moved swiftly across her face. some people called it a slap, I call it revenge...
