Poisoned: Book 3 in the Monster series

Part 3

Lazy screamed as she was being turned into a spider person. The poison seeped through her body, causing more pain. It was so unbearable, she finally gave up and blacked out.

When Lazy awoke, she was still strapped to the table she was tested on. She struggled to free herself, and when she finally knew she lost to sheer force, she looked up and examined a picture.

It was a girl, wearing a dull and dark shade of turquoise. The girl had purple hair pulled back into short pigtails by little red hair ties. Her eyes were ruby red, practically glowing back at Lazy. Lazy noticed that when she moved the girl moved wih her. Anger bubbled up inside Lazy as she spwewed out her anger at the spiders.

"What the nether did you do to me?!" she screamed.

"Altered your code so that you're now a mutant cave spider humanoid thing." gloated the spider. "We weren't sure if you'd survive."

"Well guess what? I DID! And now I'm some human hybrid thing!" Lazy lashed out at the cave spider.

"Your friends are the same way if that makes you feel any better."

"What did you do to them?" she said a little softer, but with a darker tone.

"Nothing, your friends were transformed by the other mobs, not us. They were much more inhumane, well, at least with the creeper. They didn't give the creeper girl a choice. That ender girl, well, she was born that way, so she couldn't help that. You, my dear, had a choice of us letting you go and replacing you with someone else." said the spider, pacing as he went on.

Lazy sighed, angrily, and had demanded to be let free. The spiders did as told, and with that, she vanished into the night.
