He sat and listened to her lonely hurt cries for a few moments longer, before re-positioning himself behind her. He tried to hold her again, but she started to stand. She rose from the ground and held her hands to her chest, as if to hold her heart in, and walked into a small room on the upper floor of her palace.
Suddenly, alone in the middle of the empty floor, it hit him; not literally thank goodness. But Jack realized that maybe she didn't know he existed, maybe her religion or her entire town of non-believers didn't believe because they didn't know of him. He wasn't sure how to exactly pin-point how to bring about presenting the legend that is Jack Frost.
He came up with a brilliant idea, but it would take time, unless he came up with a better way. Unfortunately, this idea would require leaving his poor Elsa alone. With a sigh, Jack left the palace and flew high in the sky in a direction best known as North.
It took a handful of hours, but Jack finally reached the home of Nicholas St. North, better known to the rest of the world as Santa, but for Jack he's just North. Jack burst into the door of the bustling workshop and shouted:
"North, hey, NOOOORRRTTTHHH!" Yelling was pointless, the elves bells jingled with every step, machines whooshed over that, and there were several pounding yeti steps. Jack changed his strategy and got the attention of a nearby Elf.
"Get me North." Jack politely commanded the Elf, trying to push the urgency with his voice. It took much longer than he expected but his favorite Russian soon came into view.
Spoken in a Russian accent; "Jack, long time it's been. How are you?"
Jack spoke assertively, "Listen, North, I'd love to stay and catch up but I really just need a favor... I need the book." North's eyebrows lifted.
"The book?"
"You know which one I'm talking about, The Legend of the Guardians." North's look of confusion remained on his face.
"Why do you need that one?"
Jack pleaded, "I need to get someone to believe.. but I need to do it by sharing my story with them... but unfortunately You know my memory was kind of slightly wiped so I don't know all the details. I just know the highlights."
North's face eased into an expression of sympathy, "You know where I keep it..."- and then he added sternly-"It comes back in one piece, in the same condition you take it."
Jack, overjoyed, hugged North before going into his office to retrieve the book. The Night had arrived and Jack decided that the urgency of this mission was not great enough to sacrifice sleep, His Elsa would still be there waiting for him in the morning.

Meanwhile, Back at the Ice palace:
Elsa is alone, hiding in her room, as more ice crawls up her walls turning black.

Jack was never good at sleeping, plagued by insomnia and nightmares since the incident that made him Jack Frost; you would think sandy would bless him with some good dreams by now. There was an advantage to this however, Jack awoke late in to the night, or more correctly, very early in the morning well before sunrise. He grabbed The Book and flew high speed to the Ice Palace.
It was edging on dawn as Jack flew through the balcony doors, settling his bare feet on the floor just outside the door to the room holding Elsa. He was about to knock when he heard shouts from outside the palace. Jack stashed the book in one of the corners of the castle, adding his own protective ice shield around it for safe keeping. He then exited the castle in a hurry, to see what was going on outside.
