Masen's POV
As I was looking around backstage I saw the first family walking towards Story and I.
"I'm really excited to get to meet the family especially Cassie's"
"Yeah so am I" Story replied.
We help the younger ballet classes. We're like batman and robin. We have the tights and everything, but that's a long story.
Cassie always talks about her family and how they support her one hundred percent, especially her brother. I think his name is Caden, maybe Colin. I can't remember its c something.
"Hey, here they come now"she said
As soon as she said that I saw them round the corner. I could hear cassie yelling at her mom and brother to hurry up. As they got closer I extended my hand to her mother and gave her hand a firm shake.
"Hi, I'm Masen Shay." I then turn to what I can only guess as Cassie's brother
"Hi" he said. He seems kind of cute as I looked him in the eye I just couldn't seem to turn away. Once I got my fill of eye candy I turn away with a content grin on my face.
As I turn towards Cassie I see her looking between me and her brother, it was like she could see the sexual tension running through my body. I wonder could she see how her brother affected me?
"Masen have you been to any LGBT rallies?" She said
I take a quick glance to see how her brother reacted to this statement only to find I'm not the one he is looking at. He is looking at his sister with a look of shock and admiration that I can only assume is for his sister asking such a bold question in front of their mother. Turning to look at their mom I hear her saying, "Honey that isn't something you assume. I'm sorry Masen, sometimes she just says things before she thinks."
I am full turned now and addressing her as I say, "Oh, no reason to be sorry. I'm openly gay so naturally her whole ballet class knows as I have gone and visited them before." I try to read the reaction their mother's face gives off, but I can't find any traces of what she thinks about her daughter being around a gay guy.
"Oh, ok" she said.
I didn't get enough time to study his moms reaction. Just as Caleb was starting to open his mouth to say something the director came around the corner and once he saw her he shut his mouth quickly. I wonder what he was going to say, was he going to say it to me? I will have to text Cassie later and ask.
I must have spaced out as I was thinking about this because before I know it the director is saying they needed to leave because the other family's were wanting to also meet me. I really hope I can meet her brother again, maybe I can talk Cassie's dance director to have a family dance day I wouldn't mind having to be his partner.
