Melissa's Adventures in Scunderland

The Table of Warriors

Chapter 2

Melissa and Queen Tiana walked through the town of Newcastle and Melissa was just astonished by the sheer awesomeness that this town had, "FUCK ME, this is the most bitching place I've ever been!" Queen Tiana chuckled "You will have plenty of time to take it all in, but right now we must head to the towns council office"

They walked around a couple of corners and found themselves in front of a big stone building, it was one of the towns oldest buildings, they walked inside and down a corridor to a dark wooden door, Tiana waved her hand and the door creaked open, inside the room was a large round table and sat at the table was a young red haired woman, a man with brown hair which was styled into a quiff, he also had an eye patch, and across from them was another woman but she had light blue hair and had a tiara on that had black star shapes scattered across.

Tiana led Melissa to the empty chair next to the throne that was clearly for Tiana, once everyone was sat Queen Tiana stood up and said "everyone introduce themselves and discuss why they are here" she sat back down knowing everyone knew her so she was exempt, the red haired woman stood up first, she had a black tank top on and dark skinny trousers which had a big black belt of with a shining silver sword attached to it, "My name Is Sofa, I come from the land of Shimna and I was asked to be here to assist the upcoming quest, she spoke with a great power to her voice and made eye contact whilst speaking, Melissa liked that.

The man next to Sofa stood up, he was tall and had a cool beard and he wore a leather jacket adorned with pockets, his belt had small brown bags attached to it and he had a strap going around his upper body to which a brown staff like object with a orange glowing crystal was attached, Melissa noticed a strange familiarity with the two but brushed it aside the man was about to speak, "My name Is Jama I to come from the land of Shimna me and my wife Sofa here are here to assist in the quest, he sat back down and all eyes fell to the pink haired girl.

She stood up,  her long blue hair was gently curled at the edges, she had big blue eyes like an ocean, she had a long pale blue dress on with flowing sleeves she had two small daggers and a large sward attached to her , she spoke "My name is Marina, I am Princess of the Sea and the sky, I am also here to assist the quest, she reached into her bag which was placed by her feet and threw some purple dust onto the table and was about to say something when Melissa stood up and said "My names Melissa but everyone calls me Milly cuz I'm from good old Belfast, and I've no idea what's going on"

Everyone look around and then back to Marina, she began to utter some words in a language that Melissa did not understand, suddenly a bright orb rose from the table and began depicting a great battle scene, queen Tiana arose "what you are seeing here is the great battle of BridgeBann, which unfortunately lost its fight with the evil Empress Adriana of Tewrkistan, she now rules over both lands and intends to rule over this, we must stop her from reaching this kingdom by killing her"

Melissa sat there with a look of puzzlement on her face, something nagged at her inside it said that even though she doesn't know what is going on she has always read about stuff like this in books and always wanted to be apart of it and she wasn't going to back out now.
