Chapter 7

Marina's father was below deck with her friends and they were doing shots, chaser, jagers and so many times did they sing 'We like to drink with Sofa cuz Sofa is our mate and when we drink with Sofa, she downs her drink in 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 0' and they'd all laugh as Sofa would chug her cider then laugh and boke all over the table, which no one found that funny because they had to clean it up, King Danielll stood up suddenly "You are reaching your destination, I will leave you know" Marina looked sad, no matter how many times she saw her father it still hurt her that he took his job more seriously, he barely saw her and tried to make up for it by buying expensive things, as much as Marina liked these things all she wanted was her father to be there too tell her he loved her and to say well done when she did something right, It was a hard relationship but she knew no different, "Must you go Father?" Marina asked trying not to well up "Yes my Darling but I'll always be here" the king pointed to Marina's heart, this tipped her over the edge and hot tears ran down her cheeks, she grabbed her father tightly, "Don't leave me again" she wailed she buried her face deep into his velvet robe not wanting this embrace to end, "Marina, I have to, I have to do he job i was created to do, it pains me to leave you but i must" Marina had heard that too many times, it wasn't enough, she released her father and fled the room running up the stairs and out way to the back of the ship.

Melissa ran after her, as she reached the deck the sun was burning brightly on her face, "Oh fuck hai, this sun can fucking do one!" she panted as she looked around for Marina, she was no where to be seen, Melissa's heart began to race and she feared the worst  she had horrible visions of a tear stricken young woman who's pain was unbearable and she couldn't go on and leaping from the ship "wait she lives in water so even if she did jump she'd totes live" Melissa ran back down the ship and descended the stairs, and there she sat, holding her fathers hand and talking away whilst the others sat at the other end of the room talking to themselves and trying not to listen, "What happened to you?" Melissa exclaimed, "What do you mean?" Marina questioned "I mean I go up to look for you and you aren't there then i fear the worst and come down here to ask for help!" Marina looked puzzled "what do you mean aren't there, i was sat at the back of the ship, after 5 minutes of  cool time I came back down here" Melissa paused, she had run to the front assuming she'd run in a straight line "Ha I thought you'd gone to the front and jumped of" Melissa was kind of annoyed but relieved to have her best friend alive still.

They all wandered out onto the deck and were looking for any sign of land, but it had suddenly gotten so misty and foggy that no one could see a thing, "Fuck this is hard to see in!" Sofa said squinting into the distance, "you know my friend back home wrote a story about some dense fog, it was pretty scary, I'll read it to you all one day it's a good read, i recommend it to everyone" "Not know I think i see something" Jama shouted, he was right peaking through the dense fog was a green mountain, as they got closer more was revealed, golden beaches, lush green hills and mountains and the cries of those really obnoxious monkeys you get, "Ah jaysus, those monkey are sooo fucking annoying uh i wanna fuckin deck them all" Melissa shouted as the screeching had become quite deafening.

They managed to get the ship wedged into the sand, "That should keep it safe for now" the king said "I must go now, my people need me" he hugged everyone goodbye and gave Marina a special hug and whispered something into her ear the others could not hear, Marina laughed and said OK and with that the king melted into the sea and vanished, "Well we better get looking for this door" Jama shouted leaping onto a rock, he had found a long black coat that has Small tears at the bottom and it flowed in the wind ever so nicely, in fact it looked pretty fucking majestic if you ask me.

They all began searching for this mysterious door and after about 30 minutes of looking through dense jungle and forest they all thought they would never find it, they were walking about and Melissa felt something tug on her leg, "OH FUCK A SNAKE" she shouted and recoiled in horror, she soon realized that it was in fact not a snake but a rope, she followed the rope with her eyes and the rope ran up a tree and  seemed to be connected to some sort of box, "Meh what could happen" she shrugged and yanked the rope, the box flew down and crashed onto te forr sending splintered wood everywhere, as this box was coming down a large wooden rectangle was pulled from the ground, "Oh look something just got pulled from the ground, could it be the door?" she ran over and es it was the door, why? because fuck you that's why! "Guys i found the door!2 she shouted, they all came running and looked at her as if she was mental, "Are you mental?" Sofa asked "No this door flew from the ground and its probs te door" the group looked at her as if she was speaking another language "ex squeeze me, baking powder?" Sofa retorted "It sounds like your saying this door which obviously has nothing on the other side is the door that leads to a tunnel" Melissa got annoyed "Yes i do know why and do you want to know how I know?" "Yes of course, please share!" Sofa yelled, Melissa looked her dead in the eye and said "Because this is a fantasy book and all kinds of shit can happen so a door can have nothing behind it and still lead somewhere....and also i looked in it earlier and yea it is the door" Sofa looked down with embarrassment, "I'm sorry it's been a heavy month" she said winking at Melissa, Melisa acknowledged the wink and forgave her outburst earlier.

One  y one they all crept down the dark tunnel, when they were all in the door slammed behind them and all that remained was a dirt wall, "It's so dark down here I can barely see a thing!" Torn said, "Oh hi Torn I'd forgotten you were here, you haven't said much" Marina said with surprise in her voice, "yea i aint had much to say tbh" he replied shrugging his shoulders "LOL ok cool" Marina laughed, then Marina realized, "Hold on guys I've an idea" it went quiet and everyone was like wtf! then a small silver glow appeared from where Marina's voice was coming from and then suddenly her entire body began to glow silver, from head to toe, it was like she was made from diamonds and being lit from the inside, "I forgot you could do that" Jama said "Yea It's a trick i learn't" she replied, they all smiled and carried on down the dark and damp tunnel, which frankly smelt of manure and B.O "Wait a second" Marina stopped "I recognize that smell, it smells like..." before she could finish a evil shrill laughter filled the tunnel and it grew closer "so i see you found the island then?" the voice grew closer and out of the shadows Chadsworth Mccanskie and a shit ton of guards appeared  GASP you all thought he was dead, well read on ffs, "Yes It Is I the mighty Chadsworth!" "How are you alive?" we saw your throat slit, Marina said she had done it herself!" Marina looked down guilt had crawled all over her face, "you did kill him didn't you?" Melissa asked Marina looked up and with tears in her eyes said "he made me do it, the Empress has my mother captive and said she'd kill her if i didn't lead you all here to this tunnel where Chadsworth would be waiting to take us all to the palace" "HOW COULD YOU?!" Melissa shouted at her, "We were your friends!" she turned away from her and spoke to Chadsworth "Your'e a real fucking loser you know that, spineless dick!" Chadsworth was taken aback by this sudden outburst "You know what, I'm going to have you killed first" the guards grabbed them and lead them down the tunnel to their certain doom, Melissa began to think, she'd never se her parents or her friends again and worst of all she'd never see Thomas Pryme again, OH THE HUMANITY! she hung her head down and tried to accept her fate.
