Luke Short Story

I was walking down the halls of the school and outside to the parking lot to wait for Jacey to come out so we could go home together since i have not gotten my license yet. As i walk into the parking lot i see someone familiar parked out the front leaning against their car..... Luke Hemmings!! the guy who plays at the cafe i work out with his band on a Friday and Saturday evening. He looks at me as i walk out the door. God i could get lost in his deep sky blue eyes, phhhsssshhhh...... lets face it... i already have. Jacey's car is not to far down but i still have to walk past Luke to get to it. God what this boy does to me, he's so hot. We talk after his shows with his band sometimes, but i pretty sure he only thinks of me as a friend....... i guess...... i'm not really sure. As i got to the end of the steps out of the school Luke pushed off of his car where he was leaning and started to walk towards me. I could tell the girls around me were jealous. But all i was thinking is 'why is Luke here???!!!!' "Hey Lidiya" he said with that adorable smirk of his, etched onto his face. "Hey Luke, what's up?" I asked with surprise laced in my voice. "Uhhhhh..." he trailed off "i was uh... kind of wondering...." I chuckled lightly at Luke's flustered state. He often got like this i guess that's just how he is. "Luke just spit it out" i said with a small smile. Luke just made me happy i don't know how or why but he just has this effect on me. He small smiled then took a deep breath and spoke "iwasjustwonderingifyoumaybepossiblewantedtogoonadatewithmemaybe" he blurted out in one breath. I looked at him sorta confused. "Alright.. You are gonna have to repeat that i barely heard a word you said." I told him with a small giggle. He looked at me dead in the eyes and said " i thought maybe we could go on a date? " he asked with a grin stretching across his face. I smiled at the adorable blonde boy standing in front of me. " your pretty cute you know that" i said with a little giggle. He bowed his head down and played with the stones on the ground with his foot. I grabbed his chin with my hand that wasn't holding books and lifted his head so our eyes meet. " i would love to go out with you." I said with a wide smile on my face as a happy grin spread across his.
