Chloe's pov:
"I'm... ....fine" I tell him, even though it's a lie. I hate lying to him but I have to. I can't believe it's him! He was gone for so long, I thought I'd never see him again. As I'm standing here thinking I'm all of a sudden pulled into a hug. But what startled me the most was what he said "I know your not fine. What happened that made you lie to me? You can trust me Chloe." I just stood there shocked and startled, he didn't even call me clover like he usually does! Which means that he's serious.
I just stay silent which makes him sigh, and pull me away so he can look me on the eye. "Chloe... please. I want to know.. no... I neeeed to know what happened. So, please just tell me. I'm here for you." "I'm sorry that I lied.. I just.. couldn't bring myself to say anything else. Since I lie to everyone because of what happened..." his eyes soften at that and he says "can we meet after school in our hideout? It'll be private. You can tell me anything." I sigh. I knew he'd say that... "*sigh* fine. I'll tell you later... let's just get back to class." I say rubbing my face. His face brightens up a little"ok. By the looks on everyone's faces when you left, I'm guessing you don't leave class anymore?" I half heartedly chuckle at that. "Ever since you left I've been a teachers pet and only left class when the bell rang." "Ah, that makes sense."
