Semi gone.

Chapter 3: Nightmare

   I jump out of my sleep when I feel a hand on my shoulder. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you. " I look at the familiar voice, it's the nurse from last night. " I'm Rosa. I informed you I would be assigned to you. So please talk to me." Wait assigned...to me? "So you will be here all day..with me?" She smiles. "Well I will leave you durning medicine time, meals, and when I am paged.  " Why dose she want that? "Why? Didn't you hear? I'm crazy." She loses her smile. " I don't believe you are. Plus you caught my interest and I want to be here. "I wince as she lays her hand on my shoulder. "I'm sorry." She movers her hand away. "Can I see,please?" I don't have anything else to loose so I show her my left shoulder. It's covered in bruises, cuts and burns. I look up to see her moth covered and tears in her eyes. "Oh honey, you must be in so much pain." She pulls me into a hug, careful not to hurt me. Strangely I feel safe. "It's...okay I will live, Rosa." I feel her tears on my cheek. " this isn't okay. I'm going to protect you, I promise. " Finally I break and cry into her shoulder. She's right I am hurting and it's not just physically. She is patient and strokes my hair as I cry. Once I'm finished she smiles. "How about we get you something to eat. "
   It's been a few hours since I seen Rosa. She's out on a medication run. I find myself roaming the halls to pass the time. All the male nurses are watching me, causing  me  to walk faster and turn down my hall to escape them. My efforts were in vain, as I was grabbed from behind and pressed to a nurses body. "What a nice body you have there girly. It would be a shame if someone were to take it." I feel him press harder against me. I feel sick feeling him in such a way and struggle to get free. "No don't look at me. Count to ten as I let go. Look at me and you will look worse that you do now. And remember, don't let anyone take you." I count to ten as he says and run to my room slumping in the corner crying.
    I'm still crying as Rosa comes back. I feel her pull me close to her. "What happened honey?" I can't tell her the truth I don't even know who it was. " Nothing, I just hit my side on my bed and it hurt." She pulls me closer rocking me some. " I'm sorry honey. You ok now?" I nod and she smiles. "That's good. I don't want you hurting. Your a good girl, you don't deserve it. " I smile at her comment. She actually cares. "I know I haven't been your nurse long, but may I ask why you are in here?" I see the shadow behind her nodding as if I should tell her. So I look down to prepare myself. " I was sent here when I was nine because I was talking to things. Things I don't remember. My parents didn't like it because it made them look bad to their rich friends. I don't hear or see my parents and they don't wright. " She hugs me. "Honestly, you're the closest thing to a mother I ever had." She smiles at that comment. " I'm glad I bring you some happiness. " Now I smile at her as I hear a buzz. She loose her smile and looks at me. "Sorry Scarlet but I have to go see another resident. " I nod understanding, she said it would happen. I lay down as she leaves and drift to sleep.
    BANG! I woke up to my door slamming shut in the middle of the night. "Your body is so beautiful." I recognized his voice. It's the nurse from the hall. Now I can actually see him. Blonde hair, green eyes, slim but built figure. " I can't believe someone as beautiful as you are in this place. Lucky me huh?" Luck? What dose he mean by that? He pins me, hand firmly over my mouth. "If you scream I'll kill you and claims self defense, understand?" I nod and he removed his hand, only to start forcibly kissing me and groping my breast. It's very clear to me what he wants now. "Awe, don't cry little one. This should be a blessing to you. All alone in here. " That only made my crying worse. I just lay there as he finishes with me.
   As he zips up his pants he speaks again. " now be a good little girl and go back to sleep. " I fake so he will leave, then cry for the remainder of the night.
