Two more moons have passed since their lesson about the clans. They've met the other warriors of the tribe: Hawkclaw, Emeraldheart, Thunderheart, and Stormfur. As well as the healing cats of other tribes who come to request herbs from Monoleaf; from the Tribe of Fast Winds: Leaffall, the Tribe of High Skies: Leafcloud, the Tribe of Creeping Shadows: Shadeleaf, and the Tribe of Rushing Rivers: Leaffrost.

"They all seem friends despite being from different tribes, shouldn't they attack or at least dislike each other?" watched Bluefoot

"Not quite." replies Brownpelt, "Healing cats live outside tribe rivalries every quarter year they all get together and head to the Starstone, the Starstone is a magical place. A boundary between the living and the dead, there we can meet and ask our ancestors questions about our destiny. I have never been there myself, I've just heard the stories."

"Well that clears up alot," replies Firefoot, "anyway what are we practicing anyway? We've learned the basics and some experienced techniques of fighting and hunting, what else is left?"

"Lots of things are left," answers Brownpelt, "first thing is patience, you don't need to be so impatient on learning, just go with the pace i have set you and you'-

They hear a cat rushing through the trees toward them.

"Come quick!" pants Thunderheart, "the Tribe of High Skies is attacking!"

"Looks like our training will become useful," says Brownpelt, "remember Firefoot, don't become nervous or intimidated by their size, numbers, or abilities. That's what makes tribes win or loose battles!"

"Right," replies Firefoot, "let's go!"

With that Brownpelt, Firefoot, Thunderheart, Bluefoot, and Leaffall charge into the woods, towards home base, expecting a difficult fight ahead."

"Firefoot, Bluefoot," called Leaffall, "what ability does the Tribe of High Skies have?"

"Let's see," replies Bluefoot, "They have the ability to jump higher than the other tribes?"

"Exactly, expect to see flying cats basically," jokes Brownpelt, "but in all seriousness they can be dangerous opponents. Always work in pairs and have each other's backs."

The base of the Tribe where Thunder Strikes comes into view and with it, the sound of fighting cats.

As they storm towards the entrance, they notice it's been destroyed and the fighting is in the center. They rush through the now destroyed tunnel to find cats fighting everywhere.

"Where's Purplegalaxy?" asks Leaffall, "We need to make sure he is safe."

"Well he's not exactly hard to find." replies Brownpelt, "I see him over in the corner surrounded by three warriors! Bluefoot, Firefoot, Thunderheart follow me. We need to help Purplegalaxy!"

The four cats run off towards their leader, as they get closer they realize that he is wounded down his side and scratches everywhere. His pelt is almost not purple anymore under the coat of blood. (how gruesome I struggled to write that because I thought about it and imagined it :P)

"Brownfur you take Oakfang, Firefoot and Bluefoot you take the one on the left, I'll take Mapleheart." yells Leaffall.

The cats go their separate directions, Firefoot and Bluefoot side-by-side as they head toward their first fight. When they reach their enemy Firefoot falls behind Bluefoot. Bluefoot trips the cat and Firefoot bowls him over with his shoulder.

"Oh really, they send me two apprentices?" sneered the intruder, "You must be new around here, I'm Squirrellfang. I'll make sure you never forget my name while I watch you suffer."

"We'll see about that!" growls Bluefoot, "We've been here longer than you expect, I think we're strong enough to take you on."

"That will be your utter downfall!" replies Squirrellfang and leaps toward Bluefoot.

Surprisingly Bluefoot was faster than Squirrellfang. She dodges, and rakes her claws down his side, Firefoot does the same along the other side.

"Well now," pants Squirrellfang, "you're better than I thought. I'll just have to try harder!" He once again leaps at Bluefoot, but he already predicted the dodge and swipes his claws across her face. Luckily he missed her eyes, but it was a close call.

"Bluefoot are you okay?" asks Firefoot, "don't push yourself too hard."

"Wow you actually sound concerned for once," laughs Bluefoot, "that's a first."

"And so is this, Bluefoot behind me!" answered Firefoot, "now it's our time to attack!"

The both rush forward Firefoot jumps on top of their attacker while Bluefoot runs around biting his legs. After a minute of this Squirrellfang collapsed on the ground panting. He struggles to get up, after a short while he got up. He knew he was defeated.

"I'll return, I swear to you that." And he limps away.

"Alright, now to go help Leaffall and Brownpelt!" panted Bluefoot, "I see them fighting still, they look like they could use a little help!"

They both rush off to their respective mentors. By the time they got to their mentors, they had both defeated their opponents.

"Wheres Bluefoot?" asks Brownpelt, "You two never split up."

"She went to help Leaffall," replied Firefoot, "Squirrellfang limped away, he will remember us next time."

"Sounds like a great battle," they turn around to see Purplegalaxy staggering towards them. "You'll definitely have to tell me about it later... but right now we need to have a tribal meeting. Cats of the Tribe, meet in the center for a tribal meeting!"
