The World Cup !!!!
SO sorry for the delay but here it is!!
Remus' pov- I came in late last night after going out and hanging out with Tonks. WE talked about our new found knowledge of Naomi being my sister. I am shocked and excited. Somehow deep down I already knew all the teasing we gave each other and the fights, told me we were more than cousins but now it is proven. After we talked about Naomi, Tonks and I had dinner. I had cooked b/c as I now know Tonks is rather clumsy in the kitchen. After dinner and hanging out I apparated home to find, Sirius and Naomi enthralled in the plan for the match and as I stood I noticed all the papers on the coffee table and realized they were not talking of the match but something else.
As I walked closer Naomi yelled "hey brother, was it a late night with a hot date?" My face flushed and Sirius laughed and blew a kiss at me and so did Naomi. I thought of how to respond, but then they went back to work. They were holding papers and doing sketches. I noticed a worn old blue leather journal with paper stuffed in it and bound with a leather cord with a feather on the end. I was about to pick it up, when out of no where a hand slammed down.
"Remus. you can't see this," Naomi said as she pulled it onto her lap. "it has all my pranking ideas."
"Then what are these?" Sirius asked pointing to what they were working on.
"Those are ok ideas that need to be perfected, so they can go in here." Naomi said and we nodded. "plus these are pranks that have not been carried out so they are top secret!" she said with a wink, at Sirius. "and quit frankly my dear brother I can't have you warning my new headmaster of my wonderful ideas!"
I rolled my eyes and smirked and said "Well, queen of pranking you and your wanna be King have to get up early so it is off to bed." I said in my serious tone. Naomi opened mouth to argue but then yawned and pouted as she stuffed papers back into the journal. I watched as Sirius helped and he smilled up at me and said
"are you sure we can't stay up?"
I gave him a look, and said "Sirius Orion Black and Naomi Lynn Lupin get to bed or no world cup!" I tried to keep as straight face but as Naomi pouted I lost it and so did they we laughed for a minute before they stood, Naomi clutched the journal to her chest and kissed my check, then Sirius hugged me and whispered "bet you had a rough night!" I released him and chuckled. As Naomi walked towards the stairs and demanded to Sirius "carry me." He crossed his arms and said "and if I refuse?"
Naomi got a dark look and said "then tomorrow I introduce you as my puppy sugar plum!" I laughed mentally b/c that was a nickname Sirius had from one of his many ex-girlfriends. He signed and said "you win Lynn!" Then he jogged to her and scooped her up and giggled like a child as they started up the steps, I watched and couldn't help but notice that Sirius was becoming less of an escaped prisoner and more like a free man, like when he was younger.
