"OH. BUT I VERY WELL have always known, my lady."

What sort of game did he try to play? He had always known who I was and he still dared. Why? He pretended and went stalking, creeping the bones under my skin. I was starting to feel uncomfortable. I'd take a step back when he'd take a step closer. But then all of a sudden, he collapsed on the floor. I screamed! Heavens be good I have screamed so loud like I have never screamed my whole life. He probably would have had a hard time trying not to laugh hearing me scream if he was also pretending to faint which I thought at first. Unfortunately, he was really unconscious.

My guards came in right away including Simon. Hearing their princess scream like that, they'd knock the first person they'd see out of their wits. Even my friends and the whole class ran over to see through the window. I knelt down to see if he's still breathing and to check his pulse.

"Are you alright, Your Highness?" Simon asked. I just nodded. "What happened?"

"He's burning with fever." I answered. His face was looking for an explanation but I did not have time. Besides I was too embarrassed to say anything. "Quick! Get him to the school infirmary."

They carried Jeremy down to the infirmary and I followed. Gail, Marj and Faith came with me.

"Drei, wasn't that the Malaysian guy?" Faith anxiously asked.

"No, he's obviously Australian." Marj butted in this time. "He can't hide that accent. Gosh what happened?"

Gail smacked Marj's head with her book. "He's from York and he has a European accent! People always mistake one as the other. Don't you ever be one of those people!"

"His name's Jeremy Smith. Born in Malaysia, father's Asutralian and he doesn't have Australian or European accent. He' from New York not York. Have you ever heard him talk before?"

"No." Gail answered.

"He talks ancient—sort of."

"Are you two close? He doesn't seem friendly."

"He's supposed to be in our class and I never have once seen him since he transferred. When did you meet?" Marj butted.

"We actually met yesterday. He was bribing me to give him your number, Drei."

So that's how he got my number. I did not want to ask Gail what he bribed her for since I did not want to explain furthermore. Not to mention Marj's giving me the look.

"How do you know a lot about him? Did he tell you?" Faith threw in the last question which probably had the most weight. Yes, did he tell me? He did not. Do my friends know? No they don't! And they did not have to know.

To a avoid their questions—they had a lot; they're like the media—I told them I had to talk to Simon although I didn't really want to and I wasn't actually going to. They got so excited and giddy about it they immediately forgot about their questions. They all decided to leave me alone to have some privacy with Simon.

But then all of a sudden Marj was making her way down to the clinic saying, "I want to check out how handsome is doing and you know, introduce myself."

"No!" I yelled. I did not mean to but, yes I yelled. Thug I already said a princess doesn't yell—whatever. It was kind of out of impulse. I probably looked strange the way they were looking at me. Faith was especially frightened so I followed it up. "I mean... that's probably not a good idea don't you think?"
