"Evonn! Get in the car! We're going to Gram's!" Ma called for me
"Just a second, I have to get my suit case!" I call back. For a two night vacation to Idaho, you'd think Ma would have left earlier.
"Quick! I want to get there sometime before Christmas!" Ma screeched
I run down to the driveway and get in the car.
Twenty minutes into the drive, the car swerves and I immediately tense up. I go to open the door and find out that my lower half is paralyzed.
