(Snape's p.o.v.)

I had to collect the kid today. I swear I hate those twins. They exploded fireworks in my classroom on the last day. I did give them detentions but they wont be here next day. And Gryffindor had already lost the quidditch as well as house cup. The losers.

I stood alone waiting for her ship to arrive at the port. She would be here any minute now. I dont know what she scored in the results I just hope she scores well in potions or it would be an insult of my teaching skills. The ship boarded and the teachers filed out neatly and then the students filed out neatly. Very organized unlike at Hogwarts. All of them were in uniforms. The collars had voilet ribbons. So they were getting out housewise! How efficient! I thought to myself as they were greeted by their parents who started apparating away. Next some students of the yellow house filed out. The crowd of parents lessened even more. Then came out students but their uniform was not neatly done. They had orange ribbons. More of the crowd disapparated but Shine still hadnt come out. And,then the last house came out. Everyone of this house was dressed in excellent casuals. Not in uniforms. "Bye Ian." they called out and a young teacher waved them off with a scowl. He must have been their head of house. Guts of these kids! I was thinking and I noticed Shine. She had grown taller and leaner. Her hair was longer. She looked more mature and athletic. Her hair tied in a neat ponytail behind her. Wearing a loose teal sleeveless shirt and jeans. Her high cheekbones had become prominent. She was walking as she carried Ninja star on her shoulders. Her gait was strong yet graceful. Confidence showed through her every step. She was different than when she went I could tell. She was talking to a blonde girl and were joined by two boys. One of them the one with sandy brown hair had his hand round her shoulder. She laughed at a joke the other guy with chin length blonde hair cracked. And the blonde girl who was most probably his sister glared at him.

Suddenly someone tapped me on my shoulder. I turned around to find a lady with red hair in a pixie cut and a tall lanky figure smile at me. Abigail Dahl.

"Abby?" I asked faking surprise. Obviously Severus. Who else? She was the hufflepuff student older than me who used to flirt with me. I would have bet my money she was a pedophile. I mean what seventeen year old girl flirts with a scrawny slytherin in the first,year?

"Sevvy! Oh m so glad to see you still remember me." she said in her everyday voice but in a flirty tone. I stopped myself from rolling my eyes with difficulty as she hugged me. Okay well. I guess she isnt a peadophile. She just likes younger guys. But that doesnt mean I like you woman I wanted to scream in her face but that would look rude.

"So did you not miss me Sevvy? I did a lot. Who did you get married to by the way? Your daughter looks nothing like you." she said in a shrill voice her voice piercing my ears. Her attempts at flirting were real bad if that is what they were but she had her face too close to mine and her hands still around my neck. She was too close for comfort. I looked around nervously and saw some students watching us. Her lower part moved closer to me. And I couldnt help the blush that crept up my cheek as one of the nearby students wolf whistled at her agressive openness. I was emberassed right now and I couldnt think of how to make her go away.

(Shine's p.o.v.)

Dad was talking to Dahl. Dahl? Okay. He was talking to Dahl. But why were they standing so close? And why the heck were her hands around his neck? Wait a minute. Why the hell is that woman grinding her lower body against his? Ugh! Woman get away I wanted to shout at her. Too much p.d.a. Please somebody save my eyesight I am going to be blinded by the gross scene in front of me. I caught Dad's eye. He looked emberassed as someone wolf whistled at her boldness. I looked to see it was Adrian. Adrian caught the look in my eye and came over.

"Why do you look like you need a paper bag?" he asked.

"Because its my Dad that woman is flirting with." I said and I was surprised at the disgust and horror in my tone. Minimal.

"What?" he exclaimed "That's your Dad? Well you must look like your mom then?"

I smiled. "I 'm adopted. But yeah someone knew my mom and he says I do look like her. But it will be my worst nightmare if my Dad actually likes,her. Save me Merlin." I groaned.

He pulled out a yo-yo from his pocket. I looked at him questioningly. "Screaming yo-yo he muttered.

He let the yo-yo loose right behind Dahl. It screamed so loudly that she left her grip on my Dad and whirled. "Uh oh run!" he screamed before leaving me to laugh in her face. Dad looked relieved but he was really red in the face. I smiled up at him barely concealing my laughter. "Hey, Dad!" I muttered and moved forward to give him a one armed hug."Let's go and collect my luggage and we can apparate out of here? But meet my friends before that." I quickly introduced him to everyone and they all nodded politely to each other. Then we collected my luggage and apparated home.

(Snape's p.o.v.)

We apparated back home. "So that was one of your stupid pranks?" I said my tone even.

"Yah you liked it?" she asked. I smiled. I couldnt help it. She got me out of Dahl's,awkward situation. I swear I felt like I wanted to run and her prank got me out of the situation.

"I will take that as a yes." she said grinning back. "So you like her?" she asked no nervousness in her voice but I could feel it carefully disguised under the cheerfulness. I raised an eyebrow at her. She raised her in reply telling me to give,the answer and be out with it instead of playing around.

"Well, she is older than me." I started "And my choice is not that bad." She grinned. But the relief was evident in her eyes. Another year had passed uneventful. Touchwood.
