Chapter 16

Justin POV

"Michael and Jadelyn" Niall said.
What?!
No, no, NO!
IT CAN'T BE, NOOOO!
My eyes widen as I shook my head,
I feel like my face has gone pale.
My heart is beating of fear and nervousness.
"Justin, are you alright?
Your pale" Harry said as everybody turns to me.
I took a few steps back as I felt myself get dizzy,
I was even about to drop Edward from my arms.
"AH! PAPA!"
"Justin! Be careful!" Louis ran quickly, taking Edward before I dropped him.
"Justin? Justin are you okay?"
"Babe? What's wrong? Justin?" Zayn asked with full concern.
Suddenly I felt myself fall to the ground as the room kept spinning around me.
"JUSTIN!" I heard Cher yell out.
"BABE, WHAT'S WRONG?!
JUSTIN ANSWER ME!" Zayn said, his hands on my face to see what was wrong with me.
Michael and Jadelyn are here for Edward!
Their here for my baby!
MY CHILD!
As I got more and more dizzy,
the boys and Cher calling after me,
hearing the little boy's cries and Edward's as well,
the room stops spinning as I finally blacked out.
"JUSTIN!"

"Justin"

Whose calling me?

"Justin, wake up"

Why do I hear voices?

"Justin"

I finally open my eyes, though it was blurry,
I still saw a pair of bright red eyes look right at me.
"Zayn"
"Hey, how are you feeling?" he asked as he strokes my hair.
"w-what happened?"
"You passed out love, you passed out after-"
"No, don't remind me.
I just can't" I said as I burst into tears.
"Justin, everything's going to be okay-"
"N-No it's not,
we moved here t-to protect our
o-one and o-only son,
and what c-came out of it?
Those bastards are h-here and if they f-find us,
they will get us all a-and kill-"
"Justin" he cuts me off before saying the words.
I just shook my head as tears fell from my eyes like pouring rain,
"I-I don't know w-what to do Zayn,
without our son, I'm w-worthless"
"Nothing will happen,
he has you, me, Cher, Liam, and Niall to protect him.
Even Harry and Louis!
As long as we're together and he's with us,
nothing will happen.
I promise you that" he said as he takes my hand,
I sniffed as I wrapped my arms around his neck, crying on his shoulder.
"Don't be afraid,
just know that I'll always be in your arms through good times and bad times" he whispers to me.
"I-I love you" I cried as he kisses my temple,
"I love you too, always"

Liam POV

I watched the two toddlers play on the ground,
Edward chatting his way to the boy as smiles and moving a toy car on the floor.
"What are we going to do with him Harry?"
"I don't know, but we can't just leave him alone like this.
He's immortal, he could kill people Liam"
"I know, I know but I don't know who he is.
We don't even know his name" I sighed.
"then ask him" Harry said,
I walk over to the toddlers and sit right next to the little brunette boy.
"hello, what's your name?" I asked him,
"L-Leo" he stuttered,
his bright red eyes staring right at me and Harry.
It's official,
he's now a newborn.
"Hi Leo, I'm Liam,
and this is my fiancé Harry" I told him slowly,
as he nods understandingly.
"I think we should raise him as our own Liam" Harry pulls me to aside.
"Harry, you know we can't do that"
"yes we can, you didn't want to change me so maybe if we adopt him-"
"Harry, it's not easy.
Your still mortal, Leo isn't,
we can't raise him"
Harry sighed, holding back his tears,
"you just don't understand my desire to have a child of our own" he cries as he walks off.
"Harry!" I called after him,
I looked down at Leo as he giggles with Edward,
moving the toys cars across the floor.
"I want him" a voice told me,
I turned around as I see Louis standing there in front of me,
beside Niall.
"what?"
"I want him, I want Leo.
I'm going raise him as my own whether you like it or not" he crossed his arms.
I looked at Niall as he just sighs,
"I tried convincing him not to Li, but he won't budge"
I shook my head as I rubbed my temples,
"No, no your not.
Your a mortal Louis, he's immortal"
"So is my fiancée and my best mate, what's the difference?"
"Leo is a child newborn,
he won't be able to control himself around you and he'll kill you!
Why do you think I'm not letting Harry raise him?"
"because your afraid to be a father" Louis whispered as he walks up to Leo,
leaving me stand there speechless.

* TWO WEEKS LATER *



Louis POV

"no I no like that" Leo shook his head at the button up shirt.
"how about this then?" I showed him a striped shirt,
his red eyes light up as he smiles and nods.
"YES! YES! YES!" he jumps up and down excitedly.
I smiled as I help him put on the small shirt through his little head.
"Babe?" Niall came in.
"yeah?"
"I'm going outside for a while,
just shout if you need me"
"sure babe" I smiled.
"I GO OUTSIDE WITH PAPA!" Leo shouted excitedly.
Since these past two weeks,
Leo has already been a son to me.
Now I know how Justin and Zayn feels when their joy is around Justin.
We all accepted Leo, Liam still has those moments where he just doesn't want to be right beside him sometimes and it hurts me and Niall.
Liam just doesn't understand how much Leo depends on us now that his real mortal family is gone,
he can't be around them anymore due to their safety.
I'm pretty sure now Leo has forgotten who his mortal family is,
he now thinks that me and Niall are his parents,
which honestly, I don't mind at all.
We have to feed him blood once and while but he eats his food so were good.
Just hearing him call me 'Daddy!' or call Niall, 'Papa!' always brightens our day.
We care for him,
we love him,
so Leo is now our son.
Now we both know how Justin and Zayn feels having Edward.
"okay, we'll both go outside with Papa" I told him.
Leo grabs his little red ball as he runs out the room,
"Leo slow down!" I shouted,
I keep forgetting about his speed.
"Leo?" I go out looking for him,
where did he go?
"AHH! LEO!"
Oh no.
I quickly run to where the yelling was from, which was the kitchen,
and I find Leo hiding behind a chair,
while Liam has a pissed look on his face.
"what happened?"
"DADDY!" Leo runs up to me and hugs my legs.
"Leo here, spilled the carton of milk all over the floor and counter,
That's what happened!" Liam shouts angrily as he grabs a wet towel.
"Liam, he's just a toddler,
he doesn't know better" I told him as I pick up Leo and held him on my arms.
"I sorry Uncle Li" Leo mumbles, laying his head on my shoulder.
Liam sighs as he shakes his head,
"no, I'm sorry buddie,
I overreacted" he said as he ruffles his hair.
I know he doesn't mean that.
"AAAAHHHHHH!
NOT IT! NOT IT!" Edward shouts, giggling, as he runs in the kitchen.
"YES YOU ARE!" Zayn comes in, squirting him with a water gun.
"Woah Zayn! Don't you squirt water in here!" Liam shouts at him.
Zayn raises an eyebrow at him as he looks at Edward,
"Edward"
Edward smiles widely as he points his small water gun out and squirts Liam.
"Oh that tears it, come here you!" Liam shouts playfully as chases Edward out,
Zayn following behind.
I just sighed as I took Leo to mine and Niall's room,
"why Uncle Li no love me?" Leo asked him.
I just sighed as I kissed his head,
"He does love you,
he's still not use to the fact that your hear with us" I tried to explain.
"he no love me" Leo whimpered as I pick him up and comfort him.
Damn you Liam,
damn you for making my son cry.
"it's okay, it's okay"
I suddenly hear unsteady breathing coming out from Leo,
"Leo, you okay buddie?"
I turn to look at him as his eyes are rolled back,
breathing unsteady.
"Oh my god,
LIAM! HARRY!
SOMEBODY HELP, LEO ISN'T BREATHING!" I cried for help as I lay him in the bed,
"Come on Leo, breathe!
SOMEBODY HELP!!!"
"D-Daddy! T-Thirtsy!" he chokes outs,
"okay, okay buddie just hold on" I told him as I lay his hand on my forehead.
"Leo, what are you doing?" I asked as the brunette toddler grabbed my wrist.
I looked in his red eyes as I see their darken.
He's bloodlust.
"Leo, no!" my eyes widen,
"Leo, stop! No!"
But it was too late as I felt the venom get inside me.
"NO! NIALL!!!!!"
