Lowest In Almost 20 Years.
I had a feeling this would happen. Hopefully things will change with brand split, because this is not good. There are so talented wrestlers in the roster, but the problem is with the creative team when ratings are so low. Where are the stars power? When your big star in the moment is out, why not do something with the other wrestlers?
The final cable broadcast rating for the show came in at a 1.87. This is down substantially from the 2.21 the show drew last week, though we knew the show's viewership would fall substantially. That said, the July 4, 2016 RAW rating ranks among the lowest rating figuresever for the show, and it's the lowest RAW rating in almost 20 years.
The last time RAW fell this low in the ratings was a December 30, 1996 episode that pulled in a 1.6 broadcast rating.
