The Beginning Of The Snake

Tanra's POV
I have been helping papa train Sasuke, I must say Sasuke has improved greatly. Sasuke and I have grown closer but we're still just friends. Today we are just getting back from training. I stood behind a post with my arms crossed leaning against it while Sasuke sat on the step. I felt papa's presence and Sasuke spoke. "You're late." "Tanra, dear. Come out please. I would like you to meet someone." Sasuke glared at him as I came out and got on my knees next to Sasuke. "Yes papa?" I looked at the boy next to him. "Who is he papa? A new recruit?" He shook his head. "No my dear. This is Sai." I nodded and got up. "Lets go Sasuke, you need some rest. I know I do." He nodded following me.

Orochimaru's POV

I turned towards Sai. "Sorry for their behavior, Sasuke and Tanra just got back from a mission." He was sweating a little maybe out of fear but he nodded. I had Kabuto show him to his room while I went to mine.

Tanra's POV

I walked past my bed and laid in Sasuke's next to the wall. I curled up in his arms and went to sleep. After a while I sensed something so I tapped Sasuke on the chest gently. "Why have you woken me?" He wrapped an arm around me as he destroyed the room and jumped away. He let me go as we stood on the ledge above the hole where our room was. Sai was the first one at the ground. I turned around. "I'm gonna go find papa." Sasuke nodded but I know Sakura had come out in the open just as I was about to leave for the fact I heard her. "Sasuke. Tanra? Where are you going!?" I jumped away till I found papa. "Papa! we're under attack!" He nodded and we found Kabuto before we ran back. Papa grabbed Sasuke's wrist stopping him from casting a jutsu. "It is not wise to do 'That' jutsu." Sasuke just glared at him "hn." He dropped his hand and I ran up beside Sasuke. I looked at everyone at the bottom and Naruto and Sakura had wide eyes while the one leading them looked at me suspiciously. "Tanra. What happened to you!? You just up and vanished! Not even a goodbye to gramps! Do you know how worried he is!?" I looked at them apologetically. I walked forward a bit but Sasuke grabbed my arm stopping me from moving. I looked at him and he just gave me a closed eyed shake of his head. I sighed and looked at papa. "Sasuke let her go." He glared at papa but I jumped down giving naruto a hug. "I'm sorry naruto, tell grandpa I'm sorry. I will come back when the time is right." I gave him a peck on the cheek and gave Sakura a quick hug before I went back to Sasuke. Naruto looked at me with wide eyes as he touched his cheek slowly. I stood there and moved next to papa as Sasuke jumped fown and started talking. He made a few attacks here and there before rejoining us. We soon vanished into flames. I walked away with everyone else following me already knowing where our next hideout was. We traveled for quite some time but had to take a break after a bit to rest. I sat next to papa and leaned against him. He wrapped his arm around my shoulders holding me close as I drifted off to sleep.

Orochimaru's POV

I let Tanra sleep against me smiling. She's still my little girl. I looked at Sasuke with an almost serious look. "Sasuke, do you have feelings for my daughter? You seem to be clinging to her quite a bit recently." He glared at me but I felt his gaze soften when he looked at her which made me smirk a bit. "Hn, what of it?" This made me smirk more. "It was just a question, though. If something were to happen and I wasn't there at the time please do take care of her. She will need you, she may be strong but she is mentally weak, which is why Hiruzen is still alive. She stood up against me to protect him." I watched Sasuke's eyes widen. "I always wondered why the old man was still alive after fighting you." I frowned remembering hurting my little girl. "Lord Orochimaru we are in the open we shouldn't stick around for very much longer. We are close to our next hideout." I nodded at Kabuto and got up picking up Tanra in my arms as we walked. She's still my little girl after all these years. I was honestly surprised she came back after all that she has done for the leaf. Hiruzen is worried about her huh?

~Time Skip Hiruzen's POV~

I stood in the Hokage office talking to Tsunade when the door flew open. "Lady Hokage! Mr. Sarutobi! Their back!" I ran out after the jonin with Tsunade following me. Naruto ran to me with a smile. "Gramps! We found her!" My eyes widened and I looked around for her. "Where is she naruto?" Tsunade asked for me. Naruto's smile fell. "She told me to leave you a message gramps. She said that she was sorry and she would be back when the time was right. What did she mean when the time was right?" I sighed and looked at the ground concerned. "Naruto, she says that when things aren't exactly going well. She must have left for safety reasons. Something must be going on at home that she's concerned about." We all sighed and let the subject drop. I wonder if we could find a way to find her and talk to her for a bit? That might prove to be harder than it sounds.
