Leaf And Loss

Tanra's POV

I've been in the leaf for a while now. We got word a while back that Asuma-sensei died in the line of action. I never really knew him very well, but it's still sad to loose shinobi of the leaf. Plus, he was really close to Shikamaru. I am currently walking the roof tops. I stopped when I heard people talking at the gate. I silently ran over and jumped over the gate into the forest. I hid behind a tree listening to Tsunade talk to someone. The next person's voice was Kalashi's. They're talking about revenge. I should follow them to watch over them. I followed them as they walked. When the gate was no longer in sight Ino reached her hand in her Kuni pouch. Funny, I don't sense anyone nearby. "Your good at masking your chakra, but not good enough!" I jumped to the side but ended up falling over since I was distracted when she threw the Kuni at me. I jumped to my feet checking myself and saw no marks. Good, she missed. The others walked over and Ino looked at me confused. "Tanra?!" I waved at her. "I thought it was you following us." Everyone looked at Kakashi confused. "I noticed you jump over the gate, and follow us, I just wasn't sure if it was you or someone else." I nodded. "It's me sensei, you don't mind if I follow do you?" He sighed. "We're engaging in a serious battle Tanra, your not only a member of the leaf I hope you know. You also belong with your father, and I doubt he'll take lightly to his daughter getting hurt like this." I sighed crossing my arms. "Come on sensei, let me live a little! Please?!" He sighed in defeat, and the others sweat dropped. "Alright, but keep up." I nodded leaving with them.

We walked for some time before we came upon the enemy. I stopped point blank as I saw her Kakashi-sensei looked over at me. "Tanra? Are you alright?" I know I had a look of loss and confusion. I started to panick. I pointed at Her and shouted "you! What are you doing with the enemy!?" She narrowed her eyes at me before sighing and crossing her arms. "Oh dear, would you look at this. Tanra, please don't make me fight a senseless battle with you. My only business is with them. I'm sure you know what I'm after?" I got into a defensive position. "You won't get your hands on Naruto! Not now! Not ever! I won't allow it!" Kakashi and the others looked between us with confusion. "Come on, your stalling us again! What is with you and these dam leaf Ninjas?" The white haired one said. The other one looked in his direction as he spoke. "Hidan, haven't you ever done your research? Leave her be." She narrowed her eyes at me. "So be it. You two boys have fun." She jumped back a few paces and Shikamaru was the first to act throwing shadows and Asuma's blades trapping them. Shikamaru possessed Hidan in a shadow possession jutsu and made him grab his scythe. He sent him at Kakuzu, but he dodged. Choji went in with an attack when Shikamaru had Hidan had Kakuzu cornered against a tree. "You two done playing yet?" Hidan and I looked over at Misty as she was just standing there with her arms crossed. "Are you going to do something bich or not?!" She narrowed her eyes at him. "Watch your mouth Hidan. I just might leave you here on the battlefield to die." The conversation was cut short when Kakuzu was run through with lightning from behind. Misty glared at Kakashi who has ran Kakuzu through with lightning. "I think you two have had plenty of play time." She flashed in front of Kakashi as he ran at Hidan after dropping Kakuzu. She kicked him back into the tree and Kakuzu rose behind her. "Kakuzu. Your turn is done, you'll be backing me up from here. You got that?" He nodded. "Yes mam." She turned glaring at Hidan. "If you want to live through this battle you'll listen to me!" He clicked his tongue at her. Kakuzu took off his coat and let his beasts go. I ran over and helped up Kakashi. "Sensei! Are you alright!?" He nodded. Kakashi and I commenced in a taijutsu battle with Kakuzu and Hidan. Misty started weaving hand signs in the background and Kakuzu moved behind her as she blew a giant fireball at us. We all did our best to dodge it. Kakashi jumped in front of us as Kakuzu sent a lightning attack at us. Misty smirked at me and ran at us. I took off before anyone else everyone called out to me trying to stop me. Misty and I took off a ways fighting our own battle. We fought the whole way out. We were still close though. Misty had the final blow and punched me in the gut sending me to the ground crying out. I looked over seeing the others in the hands of the enemy as well. I watched as Misty took off towards Kakuzu as he was electrocuted.

Misty's POV

"Kakuzu, are you alright?" He nodded. "Your still alive Hidan?" He glared at me. "What do you mean by that!?" I sighed in content. We watched as Shikamaru walked towards us. "Be on your toes boys." I helped Kakuzu fight Kakashi until he had ahold of him. We chased him up a tree and I created hand signs. "Fire style, fire ball expansion!" I blew a fire ball at him that spread into many more. He dodged them and took Kakuzu down with him, but it was a water clone. I jumped down next to him and watched Hidan get captured by the enemy. "This is why you won't live long Hidan." I looked over to see Tanra getting up in pain. If anything she's going to have many bruises. She's just in a lot of pain. She'll be fine. I looked over at Kakuzu to see him coming apart. "Kakuzu, take it easy. Don't get ahead of yourself." He nodded. "I know, you Uchiha and your Sharingan are very troublesome." I sighed stepping back letting the battle between Kakuzu and kakashi start. I can't interfere in this time. I am but a memory of the past, that's what I should be. What plays out today happens. I was sent for the nine tails, what happens happens. Kakuzu and Hidan did this to themselves. This is way off the mission. Kakuzu is more valuable than Hidan and I must say I do like him somewhat. My eyes widened seeing him writhing in pain as he was on top of Kakashi trying to take his heart. "Kakuzu, what's wrong?" I watched him fall and I ran over hauling him up away from Kakashi. I got a little far away when his creatures came running. They jumped over to us and his lightning one joined into him. I let him go letting him come back to life as he took in his other ones falling apart. "Kakuzu take it easy." He looked my way. "Are you concerned for me Lady Misty?" My eyes widened. I remember him now, I knew him in my time. Very briefly but I did. Kakuzu sent a fire attack that was repelled. I shook my head clearing my thoughts stepping forward. "Nine tails. You saved us the trouble." Tanra got over to him trying to stand tall. "Tanra?! Are you alright?!" She stuck here thumb up at him but flinched slightly. Naruto turned towards us and I got in a defensive position. "Kakuzu back me up." He hummed as he responded. "Of course. Anything for you." Naruto summed up four shadow clones as they talked. I narrowed my eyes at them as the clones ran at us. I threw kuni at the clones making them disappear. I watched as he started creating some weird jutsu. "Kakuzu, stay back. Forget what I said. You must live on. My days were over years ago!" I got into position grabbing more kuni. "You forget how old I am as well Misty." I threw shuriken at the clones coming at us. I had to fight some off to protect Kakuzu. I jumped in front of him kicking Naruto away with his Jutsu. Kakuzu grabbed me jumping back several times avoiding the wood jutsu. He let me go and I moved in front of him. Tanra walked up to Naruto putting her hands on him. "She's giving him chakra." Kakuzu nodded. I stepped one step back as Naruto walked towards us. I ran at Naruto and created hand signs. My hand went on fire as I struck the Naruto with the Justu with a fire senbon. My eyes widened when it turned into clouds. I turned around as I landed on my feet to notice Kakuzu was in the air behind me. He didn't listen to me! Naruto got him with his jutsu just at that moment. I held my hands out to him calling his name. As Kakuzu fell after the attack I caught him. "Lady Misty, please. Do me the honor of finishing me." I closed my eyes nodding. I gently set him down and created hand signs lighting my hand on fire before stabbing him with my fire hand.

Tanra's POV

I smiled at Naruto as he fell. "You did it Naruto!" I watched a little sadly as Misty carried her comrade away. "You idiot! You aren't even supposed to be here!" Sakura yelled punching me making me scream and topple over. "She looked at me confused and Kakashi sweat dropped at her. "Careful Sakura. She's wounded. She got quite a beating from the Uchiha woman." Sakura sighed. "Great, now how is Orochimaru going to take this?" The bickering is nice. I miss the leaf.
