For the next month, Hermione, Draco, and Arrow spent their time together trying to figure out their situation. Of course somehow, they always found a way to have fun.
Hermione and Draco were alone, laying in bed. "I want him."
Draco looked at Hermione surprised, he didn't know what she meant by her random outburst. "What?" He asked calmly.
"I want to adopt Arrow."
Draco's mouth hung open as he turned to face his girlfriend. "Hermione, he lives with his parents-"
"I'm his real sister! I want to take care of him, because I know that's what our real parents would have wanted!" Hermione took a deep breath, moving to a sitting position. "We have a connection, Draco. Something we can't have with just muggle parents. I know there are plenty of muggle borns with magical powers, but we are different-"
Draco stopped his curly haired girlfriend, pulling her back down into his chest. "You really are the brightest witch of our age."
Hermione smiled, relaxing a bit and snuggling back into her boyfriend.
"I love you, and I want you to be happy. Obviously having Arrow around makes you happy, so I wouldn't mind keeping him. It's like he's ours anyways."
**********
Draco, Arrow, and Hermione apparated to a place the adults hadn't been to since Hermione's torturing.
Professor Minerva Mcgonagall stepped out of the great hall just in time to meet the three. "Miss Granger? Mr. Malfoy!"
Hermione couldn't believe that the very professional woman she knew for so many years, was running up to hug them. Although, she wasn't fighting it. Hermione hugged back and laughed.
"Professor, we were just wondering if you had any idea who my parents really could be? This may sound str-"
"You know?" The professor asked, "come with me."
Back in school, Hermione had always loved the small of the hallways- a smell she had memorized. Her, Harry, and Ron had learned every twist, every turn, and every hidden passage of that castle throughout their years.
Finally the four of them reached their destination, the headmasters office. "Hermione Granger, I never thought I would see you again." The portrait spoke to her.
There in a line, portraits and all, Albus Dumbledore, Severus Snape, Remus Lupin, and Nymphadora Tonks. "Professor Lupin! I didn't know you were staying at Hogwarts." Hermione greeted, taking hold of Draco and Arrow's hands. "I didn't know any of you were actually."
"Miss Granger," Snape greeted, along with the rest of the professors. "You come with Draco, and a boy?"
"He's not-"
Nymphadora was the first to speak. "Awe he's the sweetest thing."
Hermione corrected the woman, and then resumed her conversation with Mcgonagall. "So you know my parents?" She asked, then corrected herself as Arrow tugged on her hand. "Our parents."
All of the professors shared looks, until Professor Snape finally looked at Hermione. She realized that nothing about him had changed, he was back to the way he way before he was attacked, before Nagini killed him. Hermione had a newfound respect for him, after everything he had done for her best friend.
"Draco would you take, um-"
"Arrow." Arrow interrupted proudly, as he took a step forward and puffed out his chest. The adults chuckled and Draco pulled him back to his side, as Hermione ruffled his hair. "Hermione! I told you to stop doing that!"
