The journey of recovery for my beloved horse starlight
8 weeks box rest and the 5 weeks convalescence paddock rest before he is allowed to do anything.. This is his journey back to health and back to eventing ☺️
A much better day today, a stressful day at school for me with all my German and PiXL exams but I got through them. Mum also spoke to the vet and I took a picture of how neat his stitches looked as we were both worried about his prancing around could've caused some kind of damage but he's all okay on the outside..

He was much less stressed as we have corralled penny so she is always near by and he can always see her because I was very worried about him getting to anxious or stressed as I didn't want him to have to have a longer recovery time..
His hind legs have started to get puffy tho.. Not good as I don't want any tendon damage from the constant standing in when he's so used to being outside with his friends.. I guess he feels quite lonely :(
I rode Johnny today and he was really good, star looked quite sad I think he thought he'd been replaced when I haven't replaced him he is definitely irreplaceable 😌
