Chapter 2: New Addition!?

POV Rainer

    As I walk to Lucifer's quarters all I can think about is what have I done wrong? Did he call me down to kill me? I open the large, engraved double red oak doors. I walk towards him. He's sitting at the head of a long table. Sitting to the left of him is, a boy? Or no, maybe a girl... I'm not sure. Right now I'm just worrying about what Lucifer has to say.

    "Good morning Rainer. How'd you sleep?" Lucifer asked calmly.

    "Uh, fine. Who's this?" I asked gesturing to the person beside him.

    "Ah yes this is Hades. You're going to be working with her soon." Lucifer introduces us. I look at Hades and think 'she looks a lot like a guy, barely any curves. But, she has long hair, she looks cute that way'. We shake hands and say hello to each other.

    Lucifer looks at me "Okay. Now that you guys kinda know each other, Rainer. You're gonna have to spectate Hades. Be very observant." He looks at Hades "I'm sending you on a special mission today, it's more lay low than your other missions because of having a spectator. But, you should not even know she's there because of how quiet she is." He looks at the both of us "Welp... have fun killing some Angels. Oh and try to stay in the tree's, it's better to protect someone that way. Have fun!"

    In a poof a red smoke we were teleported to a small house. I looked around and saw weapons lying on the ground, also the table was a mess.

I looked at Hades. She looked rather embarrassed. "Is this your house?" She looks down

"Uh yeah, sorry for the mess. I've been so busy with missions and such that I Haven't had time to clean up." She then continues towards a jar containing a pulsing light and picks it up and puts it in a backpack. It looked as if it was alive. "Come on, we have a job to do." Then she continues to the door and whispers to herself "I wonder where he's teleported us today."

Hades POV

When we stepped out the door and into the portal, we were instantly spawned in the forest almost right behind my house.

"Where are we?" Rainer asked as we walked toward an area where I could form another portal.

"We're by another portal! lets go" I said before I ran towards two tree's that were close enough to fit someone in between them.

"Where's the portal!?" Rainer asked as she looked around like the confused novice she was. She bumped into me after I stopped to peer between the two trees.

"Right here!" I said as I pulled out my katanas. "In between these tree's.... Just watch and learn." I said that and hit the bottom of both of the trees then hit as high as I could on the tree's and a portal opened "See!" I said with a grin and I walked through the portal.

I stood there for a moment wondering when she would follow me through the portal. Minutes passed and she still hadn't. I poked my head through the portal and looked at the expression on her face.. it was confused. "Are you gonna follow?" I asked looking at her confused.

She just walked into the portal, I didn't ask anything else.
