Please don't ask me for packaging peanuts.. Please do not ask me-
"Sir, would you like some peanuts for the plane ride?" The air hostess asked me.
Shit.
"No, thank you, I'm okay."
"Are you sure? It's a long plane ride!"
"I'm positive." I replied with a fake smile.
"Alright."
She began walking down the aisle towards another row to hassle with her ridiculous peanuts when the pilot intercom came on.
"Everyone, please return to your seats and fasten your seat belts. We are experiencing some mild turbulence and expect it to pass soon. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation."
I sighed and leaned my head back against the seat while fastening the belt and hoping everything would be done soon, because quite frankly, I really had to pee.
A couple seconds after the first announcement, as expected, the plane began to shake and bounce, which did not help my bladder situation. I tightened my lips and held on, because it would be over soon right?
Wrong.
A large 'buzzing' sound started over the intercom when the announcement came we were going to have to make an emergency landing due to weather.
There was a bit of grumbling, considering it was Christmas Eve and everyone was on their way to see their family.
Are you kidding me? I haven't seen them since my graduation!
However, seeing family should've been the least of my concerns. Staying alive should've been the thing I was worried about. Because in the next few seconds, I wasn't sure I was going to. Everyone in the plane slid forward in their seats as the plane took a deep nosedive. The hostesses were yelling from their seats in the back of the plane to put the emergency oxygen masks on the children first, then the adults.
I quickly jammed the mask on my face and said prayers to whatever God was up there that I wouldn't die.
*Spoiler alert, I didn't. I was only impaled.*
We shot down faster than anyone could comprehend what was happening. Apparently, as I would find out later, there was a sudden storm that struck the left wing and caused us to go into a spiral downward. So, as you may guess, we crash-landed. Thankfully, it wasn't too far away from civilization, so people saw the plane.
Where, you may ask.
Nowhere else but Saint Louis, Missouri, of course.

"SIR I'M GONNA NEED YOU TO STAY WITH ME!" The EMT yelled in my face.
What the actual hell?
"Wh-huh?"
"Stay with me! You are losing blood at a fast pace, and we need you to stay awake until we can get to the hospital."
My eyes were focusing in and out and I couldn't hear well anymore.
"Sir! Count backwards from 10 with me!"
Huh?
I couldn't remember anything else till I felt myself being thrown onto a stretcher and hearing doors being flung open.
"Doctor! It's the plane crash patient. BP is 90/60 and dropping with a decreasing oxygen rate of 85."
Faintly, I heard the voice of a British doctor in my ears, and the sound of his footsteps rushing towards me, and then his hands pushing down on my chest as I blacked out.A/N
