Quintus Decimus

•◇•◇•◇•

There is someone I yearn for,

Someone who doesn’t stand out like all else,

Someone who, despite his indifferent facade,

holds so much of me

I was spellbound

Into the sidelines he’s always placed,

Exempted the moment where he loses himself,

But through another girl he is found

I wish most often that the girl was me

I was spellbound

I know I am not alone,

as I love him with certain need,

I know many heads turn his way,

I grow greedy and want him for myself,

I was spellbound

Is it love?

Infatuation maybe...

I watch him at times,

And often, about him I write,

My imagination catches his form, his voice

In my mind we speak and touch

I was spellbound

In my dreams we meet,

As I wake, I sigh

His dishevelled russet tresses,

Those deep cerulean eyes,

His sharp jaw and pale skin,

I remember them so vividly,

I was spellbound

Just someone of moving frames

Nothing but series and fantasies,

Flat on sheets of words and sketches,

Often on bright screens,

I was spellbound

He doesn’t know of my existence,

Then again, neither does he exist.

I found my old poems, I figured that since this is going to be my first compilation of poems, I might as well add in those I've previously written. This was written for an infautation I had over some character. Haha!

I hope you guys like it. Feel free to comment and give constructive criticism, both will be highly appreciated.
