Chapter 1

'Is that a town? It is! I think that's tekkitopia.' I look at my map that is constantly updating as I move. 'Yep' I continue flying until I'm right next to a big building with a face on it. I land right in front of the front door. I knock once, no answer, I knock again, no answer 'Third time's a charm' I knocked once again and finally the door opened. There I see a brunette with a spaceman looking outfit on with blue eyes. "Hello? Who are you?"

"Hi! My name's Rose, I am a traveler and I was looking for a place to stay the night."

"My names Lewis. You may stay here as long as you don't mind that I have a couple of roommates and we would all sleep in the same room"

"Oh no! That's fine, I don't mind at all"

He turns around and motions me to follow him. After walking for a bit he took me into a lab where there's a blonde scientist guy and a ginger dwarf. Lewis cleared his throat to get their attention and they both turned around.

"Who is this Lewis?" The blonde said while pulling his goggles up

"This is Rose and she will be staying here for a bit" I see Lewis smile then Blondie spoke again

"Hello Rose! My name is Duncan and the dwarf is Simon. So, what is a lovely lady like you doing staying at a place like this?" He takes my hand and kisses it. I hold in a laugh at his actions.

"Oh, I have been travelling looking for a town to stay in but so far I haven't had much luck finding a nice town that isn't scared of me." Duncan starts smiling

" Well, I think you'll like it here in Tekkitopia, because we have nice residence."

"Awesome! So far you guys are the only ones I have met here but if the rest are like you guys then I think I may settle down here" I smile while the others start laughing at my enthusiasm till Simon speaks up

"Well just about everyone is welcoming and nice, but there are a few that not everyone gets along with..." I smile as we talk for a while about random stuff and it was fun...until we started talking about our pasts and they asked me about mine...

"So how about you Rose? What's your past?" I look at Lewis and see curiosity in his eyes

"Um, well, you guys promise you won't dislike me from it?" I look wearily at all of them. They all nod. I sigh and start off "Well I grew up in the End with my mother and I only had one friend, which I was perfectly happy about, my friend was my best friend to where we were basically brother and sister. My mother started teaching my friend and I magic at a young age, around 6 or 7 and we would always play pranks on each other with our new magic. Then around age 15-16 I was hanging out with my friend and we hugged, which was nothing out of the ordinary, but his father saw us and made him go home. I never saw him again... 7 years later my mother was still teaching me magic but something changed about her the day we lost him, she wasn't as nice anymore so she wouldn't give me any breaks during practice. I got a hotter temper because of her and one day when I was in public, I lost my temper and accidently shot my mother with a water orb and she died on impact. The elders banished me from the end, so I had to find somewhere to stay and that's how I got here" I keep my head down till Lewis spoke

"Why would we not like you anymore?"

"Because...I'm not human..."I trailed off then Simon spoke out off curiosity

"What are you then?"

"I'll tell you later" Then Duncan said smiling

"What was your friends name?"

"Rythian......."
