Lullaby Dreaming

It was about two o’clock now and the house was quiet without the boys here. Cavalla had disappeared into a room that must have been an office, leaving me to entertain myself in a place which felt foreign.

I picked up the Dolly magazine that was hidden under the coffee table in the lounge room and laid down on the brown lounge. Jessica Mauboy was on the cover standing with her hair in a side ponytail. She looked so natural. I was reading across the column and saw something that caught my attention. “Do any of the stories told in your songs relate to your own stories?

Sometimes when I'm writing and performing I draw on my feelings and life experiences. So yes!”

Maybe that’s what I should do write a song, something that captures my feelings. I used to love singing before all of this happened.

I headed down towards my room and opened the door. I was pretty sure that I had chucked the note pad and pen I had earlier in the top of the bed side table. The top draw squeaked as it opened, and their sitting in plain sight was the notepad.

I missed doing this, it calmed me down. The lyrics seemed to be rolling off my tongue.

“It seemed so long ago.

That I could never remember which way to go.

Memories for ever lost in a haze of lies that had been hidden from clear sight.

I'm now stuck, alone, alone, in a place that I cannot yet call home.

And it leaves me wondering who I really was all those years ago.”

I sang the song like a lullaby, making me grow sleepy on the lounge.

My eyelids got heavier, a haze growing over my sight. My heartbeat slowed and the lounge seemed oddly comfortable.

Minutes later I found myself drifting off, barely hearing the clicking of the cock.

Unknown POV

I walked into the lounge room, The house seemed to be quiet.

“Armmmmg” I looked towards the noise. Mali was asleep on the couch, her hair blond hair laid perfectly on the light pink pillow her head was resting on. She looked beautiful, angelic almost. It was hard not to go over and touch her. But before I knew it my body defied me and crept closer to her. My hand made its way to her check, rubbing it gently with her thumb. And then without thinking I ran my finger over her plump soft pink lips. Even before I was over here I could smell her heavenly sent, and now I was in a position where it was enthralling. She stirred, her arm reaching out snaking its way around my stomach, as I kneeled next to the lounge. Her touch made my skin tingle. I untangled her arm and placed it back on her stomach, so I couldn’t be caught. She was so very gorgeous.

Mali

My dream felt strangely real. A boy I had never seen before approached me. He stood in skinny black jeans and a loose white top. He basically screamed HOT! But as he moved closer I found myself stuck up against the wall which had appeared behind me. He grabbed my left hand and held it up, placing it behinds his neck. It felt strange, but not uncomfortable. All of a sudden to my dismay my hand found its way around his stomach. His chin rested on my head.

“It will be okay Mali, you’ll see. Just trust those around you, but most of all your instincts” he said.

All of a sudden I found the dream disappearing and my mind being pulled back into the darkness.

I felt someone shaking me. I opened my eyes…
