Chapter Two: Intrigued

You sat back in the uncomfortable seat in the car listening to Evan rant on about how disappointed he was in you. "Evan." You said making him stop in the middle of his sentence. "You're not dad. Stop acting like it." You muttered out immediately regretting saying it. You saw his brown eyes instantly feel with sadness and disappointment. "Ev. I'm sorry, I-I didn't mean it.." You said trying to apologize. You ran your hand through your (H/L) (H/C) hair, feeling stupid. "It's fine (N/N)." He said as he pulled into the drive way. You both sat in the car for a few more minutes. "How much did you drink?" He asked, not looking at you. "Only a gulp." You looked out your window towards the house. "I'm disappointed, you know?" He stated and got out of the car, leaving you with a small pain in your chest.

"I know.." You whispered to no one and got out of the car trailing after him into the house. You shut the front door behind you and walked into the kitchen. You opened the fridge to find absolute nothing in it. You and Evan weren't poor, you just usually ate out or ordered something. Hence the stack of pizza boxes and Chinese Take-out by the back door. "Do you want any pizza?" You quietly asked Evan through the doorway of the kitchen. "Yeah, but save a piece or two for me. I'm going to edit." He said as he walked upstairs to his room. You dialed the pizza places number in your phone and ordered a regular peperoni pizza.

The door bell rang and you got up from the couch to answer it. You pulled twenty dollars out of your wallet in preparation. You answered the door expecting to see the pizza guy, but no. It was that jerk from the party who got you in trouble with Evan. You rolled your eyes and began to shut the door on him. "Wait!" He said as he pressed his hand against the door forcing it to open. "What do you want?" You asked with a little annoyance in your voice. "Evan called me over.." He said and practically invited himself in. You rolled your eyes and closed the door only to hear another knock on it.

You opened it again and found the delivery guy standing there. You paid the delivery guy 20 dollars and grinned wildly as you grabbed the pizza and shut the door with your foot. You set the pizza down on the dining table and grabbed two plates, for you and Evan. "Grab another plate, Jon's eating with us." Evan said as him and 'Jon' walked into the kitchen. You ignored what he said and grabbed yourself a slice of pizza and set it on your plate, but Evan grabbed your plate and gave it to 'Jon'. "What the hell Evan." You said glaring at him. "Language.. I told you to get him a plate and you didn't so I gave him yours." He said as he grabbed himself a piece and sat down across the table from you.

You scoffed and grabbed yourself another plate and another piece of pizza. You took a bite of your amazing tasting pizza forgetting the world as you enjoyed the flavor flowing through your taste buds. "You know Jon, right?" Evan asked pulling you out of your heaven. "Nope." You said popping the 'P'. "Well, his names Jonathan and he's one of my best friends." He said almost making you choke on your pizza. Their best friends? You thought clearing your throat. "Also, he has a YouTube channel called H2O Delirious." He added on. You glared at Evan trying to tell him that you didn't really care for this information. You saw 'Jon' lift his mask just so you could see him smile and take a bite of his pizza.

'Jonathan' left after everyone was done eating. For some reason you couldn't stop thinking about him and his crazy mask. You remembered Evan saying something about him having a channel. 'H2O Delirious, right?' You asked yourself as you opened your laptop and searched for his channel. You found it and clicked on the first video you saw, it was a Left 4 Dead video, involving Evan and some other people that you assumed were more friends of theirs. You heard his voice boom through your speakers, along with Evans. You recognized Nogla's voice but struggled with the other guys voice.

"Watching Delirious' channel I see?" Evan said scaring the shit outta you making you close your laptop immediately. "No!" You said defensively. He chuckled and opened your laptop, revealing the previous video you were watching. "Oh sure you weren't." He said sarcastically and handed your laptop back to you. "I suggest watching until the end, its pretty funny." Evan said as he walked out of your room. You skipped to the end of the video and watched as Evans character was tackled off of the edge of the Helipad. You laughed along with delirious, hearing his highly contagious laugh for the first time.

You started to think about what was behind the mask.. You got more and more intrigued as you thought about it. 'Maybe Evan knows.. Ill ask him about it tomorrow..' You thought and rolled over on your bed, allowing sleep to take over your body.
