Prologue

Uhura spoke over the ship wide intercom, “Lieutenant Greaves please report to the Bridge immediately.” When Sienna heard this a smile creeped across her face, finally is she officially apart of the Enterprise. Quickly Sienna strolled her way up to the bridge.

As she stepped out of the turbolift, Sienna took a split second let out a deep breath, before attending to Kirk’s needs. The Captain was sitting in his chair facing the Viewer. “Captain, you wished to see me,” I stated.

“Aw yes, Sienna as must know you are to report to your station before we leave Earth’s orbit,” Captain James T. Kirk informed me.

“I understand sir, but I am afraid my position has no set station. So I was-” Sienna was about to continue when Kirk held up his hand as an act of silencing her.

“I have made arrangements for your station,” Kirk said gesturing to a black desk chair bolted to the floor of the bridge. Sienna let out a giggle before wrapping her arms around Kirk. She now had a seat of her own.

“Iz helped too!” Chekov stated standing up from his chair at the helm.

Sienna gave Kirk a did-you-take-all-of-the-credit look, and in response Kirk nodded his head and he sighed, “The boy did most of the work.”

She let go of Kirk’s undeserving hug, to give Chekov a polite kiss on the cheek. The second Sienna’s lips touched Chekov’s cheek his face went rosey red. “Thank you,” she whispered into Chekov’s ear.

“Are you two kids going to take this seriously. I going to have to make a ‘No Kissing’ rule on bridge,” Kirk remarked before he stood up and walked over to where Bones stood.

“Buckle up Bones,” Kirk patted his friend on the back, “It is going to be a long trip.” Kirk knew he was not fond of space, so he left Bones with the thought in his mind while he went to go talk to Dr. Carol Marcus.

Bones rolled his eyes, “Five years in space,” he had a hard time swallowing back, “God help me.” If Bones knew his Captain well, the next five years were going to be anything but a walk in the park.

Sienna smiled at Bone's remark before she walked over to meet Dr. Carol Marcus. "Dr. Carol Marcus," Sienna shook hands with Carol, "It is my pleasure to meet you, I have read a lot of you work." Sienna did admitted that Dr. Carol Marcus was, and still is her idle. Carol was smart, model beautiful, and strong both emotionally and physically.

"Lieutenant Greaves," Carol smiled, "So you are Spock's famous sister."

I nodded in response, "but please call me Sienna."

"Alright, Sienna I would love to catch up with you, but it would have to be later because the Captain has me running an errand," Carol said before looking Kirk in the eyes for a split second before turning on his heels and walking out the door. I could have sworn Kirk and Carol were more than just co-workers.

Sienna then took a seat in her chair. She was surprised by how comfortable the black leather chair was.

Kirk had quickly finished up his routine check with the bridge crew before checking in with Scotty one last time. "Kirk to Scotty, how is the warp core doing?"

"Perring like a kitten Keptain, She is ready for the long road ahead," Scotty stated proudly, he took pride in maintaining the Enterprise.

"Wonderful Scotty," Kirk replied before turning to look at Sienna, who exchanged looks with him. "I think we are ready," Kirk said as if he was speaking to everyone, but he was hinting for Sienna to do the honours.

Sienna smiled, she was ready for the long voyage, "Punch it Sulu," she ordered. Then within seconds the Enterprise went into warp and all you could see was white streaks across the viewer screen.

Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its continuing mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before.
