Chapter 3 - A Mistake

{Kang Seulgi P.O.V}

I swore in my breath when I realized this guy is the same ball of sunshine yesterday- that I almost dropped my lunch box.

Jung Hoseok- like the name in his nametag or whatever he is called has a really great reflex. I mean, he caught the lunch box in ease. And as if this is not enough of a surprise, his already wide eyes became wider at looking on the content of my lunch box.

My red velvet cupcakes.

I quickly composed myself, trying to sealed the fact that I am actually very flustered for every of his actions. I do not want him to ruin my plans for this semester, ever.

"Oh that- Yup that is me. You got that one right. Well- I- Thank you Hoseok. Now, could you please give me back my lunch box and leave me alone? I already thanked you."

I said in one breath. That is the longest sentence I ever said to someone since my school days here.

I did not even look at him in the eyes- because I know he is charming and I did not want him to see through my insecurities- which everyone says are easily portrayed through my hazel coloured eyes. And my dark past- of course.

I was startled when I heard him snickered.

"So that what you think? That I was expecting a thank you?" He said, with his two fingers grabbing my chin, forcing me to look into his eyes.

For a moment, I was immediately scared. The look in his eyes- it is exactly the same like him.

I do not want to get hurt again.

I did not even realize I was shedding tears until a thumb is caressing my cheeks, taking away my tears. His apologetic face is just a few inches away from me. And I did not even know why I was stunned- I mean, I did not even move an inch.

The usual me will immediately move away from him, or even give him a slap. But what is happening to me? What is he doing to me?

"I'm sorry. I did not mean to scare you. I was just playing you because you seemed too tense." Jung Hoseok said, his eyes seeing right through mine- confirming he is not lying.

"I- I-" I stuttered, trying to find a strong excuse to escape from his grip and made him forget my existence- ever.

"Woah hyung, what are you doing?"
"Yah Jhope, you did not even tell me you already got a new girlfriend!"
"Noona, you are so pretty therefore you are not suitable for Jhope hyung, you are to be with me."

I quickly turned my heads to where the voices came from, before actually realizing we have visitors and that can only mean one thing- more people will recognize me.

And I did the first thing that came across my mind.

I ran.

{Jung Hoseok P.O.V}

"Woah hyung, what are you doing?" Taehyung asked, his loud and mischiveous voice are clear to my ears- probably hers too. He is laughing at us, and I did not even fathom what is funny.

Before I could even let out a sigh, Jin hyung overtook me.

"Yah Jhope, you did not even tell me you already got a new girlfriend!" His famous smirk is on his lips, and I can tell him off, Jungkook said another absurb thing- making me sigh, loud.

"Noona, you are so pretty therefore you are not suitable for Jhope hyung, you are to be with me."

And there you have it guys, his puppy eyes- trying to change Seulgi's attention to him and boy- he did it alright, Seulgi is really giving her attention, eyes wide.

And you didnt even deny what Jungkook said- she is so pretty.

I shoved the unwanted voice in my head way back- and ignored it. I was trying to stop them from saying other things that will humiliate both my pride and them in front of Seulgi when she did the last thing I ever think of. She ran.

All of us were surprised with her action and that explains why no one ever moved to even try and ran after her. And I was really flustered- really.

I turned to the boys and made a mental note to scold them for their rude behaviour- but failed miserably.

How can I do that when the three troublemakers are looking at me with innocent puppy eyes that no one ever managed to resist, except for Suga hyung. Well he is not really a warm person though.

"What's that, Hobie? Who is the girl?" Rap Monster hyung asked. I shrugged and walked back to the caféteria- before Suga hyung words stopped me.

"What is this? Cupcakes?" I bolted and took the lunch box from him, making sure not to ruin the content in process and stop Jimin from taking a bite. Yeah I know this is not mine but I could never let them eat it.

"She- she gave it to me. She's just a secret admirer guys. Nothing else." I said, trying to convince the others.

"Well, you see- she gave me a note saying she loves me so that is why I wanted to talk to her. To tell her I was not interested. Then she tells me to accept this eventhough I told her n-"

"Yeah yeah, we got it. Why are you making this a big deal afterall?" Jin hyung said, shrugging his shoulders.

"Yup, its the usual thing for JHope. We get it you dummy." Rap Monster hyung said. I think I caught a glimpse of mischief in his eyes but ignored it.

"But- why did she run?"

I rolled my eyes to Taehyung, it is a very silly question. Isnt it obvious? It is you- you fool!

"Nah, I think she was just embarassed of you guys." I said slightly hiding my nervousness. I can confirm no one can notice that. I let out a sigh when no one questions my bullshit when it was so obvious it was bullshit, lol.

My eyes look down towards the lunch box in my hands, and I smiled a bit. This can be an excuse for me to meet her again- and this is definitely a fate- by Him.

Little that he knows, there is someone watching the whole scenario of him, the girl and his members and that- the decision to meet her again is definitely a MISTAKE- that he will probably regret his whole life.
