Chapter 3

Bree's POV

After I talked to Mr. Davenport and him telling me about me and Chase not being related, I was so excited because I can like Chase without it being a problem. When I was walking to the kitchen I tripped on one of Leo and Adam's game controllers. I closed my eyes, waiting for impact, but it never happened. I opened my eyes and saw that Chase had caught me before I hit the ground. He was smiling and I couldn't help but smile and stare into his hazel-brown eyes, it was like I was in a trance.

We were like that for a while until we heard Adam walking into the kitchen. I quickly got up out of Chase's arms, good thing Adam didn't ask any questions, well technically he did. "Guys will I look better with a beard or a mustache", Adam asked. "We don't care", Chase replied annoyingly. "Don't have to be rude captain shorty", Adam said as he left, probably to bug Davenport or Leo. Chase rolled his eyes, which I thought was cute.

"Sooo......", I said. "Sooo......", Chase replied. "Thanks for catching me early", I said, trying to break the awkward silence there was. "Eh it was no problem", he said. "How about we watch a movie", I said. " Sure", Chase replied.

Chase's POV

"So what do you want to watch", Bree asked. "Let's watch Scream", I said. "I don't know", Bree said nervously. "C'mon it'll be alright", I told her. "Ok", Bree said. Ok...ok..ok, the only reason why I chose that movie was because I knew Bree didn't like scary movies, so she would get really close to me and cuddle with me. Yeah I love her, but we're not related so it's fine

I made the popcorn while she was a getting blanket. After we were done we got under the blanket and started the movie. It was only like 10 minutes into the movie and she was already shaking. I put my arm around her and I used my hand to comb (idk the correct word to use) through her lucious brown hair. I wanted to kiss her so badly, but she'd probably yell and slap me.

We finished the movie and she went up to her room. I decided I'm just gonna tell her how I feel. I walked up the stairs to her room. I knocked on her door. "Who is it", she asked. "It's me Chase", I told her. "Come in", she said.

"Hey can I tell you something", I said. "Yeah what's up", she replied.
