The last few days of the tour were the weirdest days I had ever lived.

Cian had told the boys about our relationship's demise, and even though I thought he would blame it on me (Which he should have), he didn't and all the boys still acted the same around me.

It made me respect Cian so much, he had every reason to talk badly about me.

That didn't mean he wasn't angry at me though. He completely avoided me at all costs and I had caught him glaring at me more than once. But, I couldn't blamed him, I had honestly treated him like crap.

I was glad when the last night of the tour in Newcastle came. I just wanted to be away from Cian, things were just too awkward between us.

Gary had told me beforehand that HomeTown wouldn't be supporting them on the second leg of the tour in Europe, and that I would be the only support act, so I didn't have to worry about spending another few weeks with Cian. Although I was kind of disappointed. I had gotten really close to Dayl, Dean, Brendan, Josh and Ryan and I would miss them.

And, if I had to be honest with myself, I would miss Cian too. After all, we were together for six months and I did care about him. I hoped one day that we would be able to be friends again.

Anyway, the last night of the tour the whole company went out for a meal in a curry house. This included the dancers, the band, the HomeTown boys, me and Mark, Gary and Howard. It was fun and we all had a great time.

I was going home for a few days before returning to London to start working with Mark, and I couldn't wait to see my parents and friends again.

And they couldn't wait to see me, because when I walked through the arrivals lounge in Cork airport, two days after the tour finished, Mam, Dad were waiting for me with balloons and a huge sign saying 'Welcome Home Cora!'

And they weren't the only ones waiting for me. There were also a few fans there waiting to meet me. I recognized some of them and knew they were from the town next to ours, but I never thought that they would be fans of mine. In ever thought that I would have local fans. It felt incredible!

'So that was a nice welcome home greeting, wasn't it?', Dad smiled as he drove home.

I had signed autographs and stood for photos for them, and it was great fun. A few had even brought me packets of Skittles, which I had said during an interview were my favorite sweets.

'They were so cute!', I giggled, remembering their faces, 'I didn't think I was so popular here.'

'Cora you're a local celebrity!', Mam laughed, 'You're the most popular person IN IRELAND at the moment.'

With that she began telling me of all the tales of my fans visiting our house to see the place 'Where a star was born', and how many times I had been mentioned in local papers, magazines and even on national TV!

Before I knew it, we were home.

'We have a little surprise for you Cor', Mam announced, as she opened the front door.

'Yeah?', I asked, giggling as I walked through the front door carrying my bags.

'WELCOME HOME CORA!', a cheer went up as soon as I walked into the living room.

Standing there were Lisa and Eric grinning from ear to ear.

'Oh my God!', I laughed, as I rushed to embrace them, 'It's so good to see you guys!'

'You too Cor!', Lisa beamed, as we hugged, 'I've missed you so much girl.'

'I've missed you too, just so you know', Eric shrugged, making me laugh as I wrapped my arms around him, 'It's good to have you home Cora.'

'Thanks guys', I giggled, as Eric and I broke apart.

'So, we have a lot to catch up on', Lisa grinned, turning my attention back to her, 'So we're going to have a good old fashioned sleep-over tonight.'

'Seriously?', I giggled, as I rose an eyebrow, 'You're staying too Eric?'

'Oh no, no', he laughed, 'Strictly girls only. I will be at home playing COD and drinking beer. Perfect night in.'

And that's what happened.

After spending the day together, Eric went home that night and left Lisa and I have our girl time. My parents also kept out of our way so that we could have time to talk.

'So, how are things going with Cian?', she asked me, as she sat on my bed after we applied face masks.

'Um, I haven't told mam and dad yet', I began, biting my lip, 'But we kind of broke up.'

'What?', Lisa gasped, grabbing my hand, 'What happened? Are you okay? He seemed like such a nice guy.'

'He is he is', I stressed, 'But, it just didn't work out.'

'Cor I'm so sorry', my best friend replied, 'But don't worry you'll find someone else.'

'Uh-huh', I nodded, trying to avoid eye contact as I felt myself getting upset, 'There sure is.'

'Cora don't get upset', Lisa asked, squeezing my hand, 'I'm sorry for bringing Cian up, I know you're probably still cut up about the break-up.'

'It's, it's not that', I began to sob softly, 'Cian and I broke up because, because I'm in love with someone else. But we can't be together.'

'It's one of his bandmates isn't it?', Lisa sighed, wrapping her arm around me as I cried into her chest, before trying to lighten the subject, 'Is it Dean? He'd defiantly be my choice. Those blue eyes and Dublin accent, he's dreamy.'

'It's not Dean, it's none of the HomeTown boys', I cried.

'Then who is it?', Lisa whispered.

'It's, it's Mark!', I cried before throwing my arms around her in despair, 'I''m in love with Mark Owen!'
