Maya started walking towards Alex's house. What if Mr. or Mrs. Friar is there? She thought. Wait they are never there, it'll be fine. She rung the doorbell. "Come in." Alex gestured for her to come in. "I'm here to get my stuff." She walked up the stairs and down the hallway. She found one of her phone chargers, a denim jacket, and a pack of her favorite gum. She knew she had a small makeup bag somewhere around here. She bent down and saw it under the bed. She reached her hand for it. "Damn, I'm gonna miss this." Alex said, staring at her butt. "Alex..." She said warningly. She pushed past him and started walking toward the stairs, when Alex's brother came out of his room, and they ran right into each other. "S-sorry, oh my..." she whispered. He was naked except for a towel around his waist. "We really gotta stop doing that." He laughed. "Uh-m yeah sorry." She let out a laugh/sigh. She walked down the stairs. When she was almost at the door, she heard someone. "Uh I'm Lucas by the way, Alex's brother." she turned around. "I'm Maya, Alex's ex-girlfriend." She couldn't help but notice how attractive he was, his golden skin, perfect hair, chiseled jaw, and hazel green eyes. "Ex? Did something happen between you two?" He lifted and eyebrow. "Uh he did it with another girl." He started walking towards her. Her heart started beating faster, what was happening to her? "Um, I was gonna lock the door behind you," he said. "Oh, rushing me out I see," she laughed and nudged his arm with her elbow. "Uh no, I just need to shower." he replied but, he could not keep his eyes off her. She dropped her gum on the floor near the door, quietly so he didn't notice it until she left.

She wanted to talk longer without Alex finding out. She found a flower near by and dropped them on her way home. Hopefully he would notice them.

Lucas closed and locked the door, out of the corner of his eye he saw the gum. He grabbed it and went to his room to change. My shower can wait, he thought. He walked outside and saw the rose petals and laughed to himself. She is quite something.
