All I could do was stare out the window as the rain poured endlessly, dripping ever so slightly down my large window. I positioned myself with crossed legs on the wooden window seat covered with assorted blankets and pillows, my Iphone placed directly infront of me. I looked back out to the out stretched farm beyond the glass and caught my ragged reflection,

My bright blue eyes had faded to a dark grey resembling the rolling thunderous clouds. My long blond hair had been pulled back into a messy bun, loose pieces out lining my red cheeks and chizzled features. I sighed heavily before an abrut knock on the door startled me, I turned my gaze to the tall off white door and watched it as if the person on the other side could read my mind. I didn't have the energy to tell them to come in.. I didn't have the energy to say anything anymore. I grumbled quietly to tell them to go away but they obviously had other ideas.

The door opened with a force and in stalked Joshua.

I know I didn't know her.. but I know you and you need to stop mourning over this, Tay it's been months,” He said as he strode into my room and pushed me over agienst the window.

He wrapped his muscular arms around my shoulders and pulled my tiny body close to his larger one. His usually flipped brown hair flowed into his face today causing him to look just as scruffy as I did. We had the same dad but not the same mum, his mom moved away a few years ago and never told him about our dad. My father knew about him for a long time but never said anything until he was left on his own, He shared many of my fathers features. His baby blue eyes matched my dads exactly, They both had chizzled faces and a muscular figure. Josh smiled down at me and kissed my head,

Ca'mon kid, you haven't eaten in days,” He said ruffling my hair and tugging on the blankets I had drapped around my shoulders.

I miss her Josh,” I whispered trying not to let the tears fall anymore then they already had.
