The Men of My Dreams

"I have this reoccurring dream. It's not the same dream every night... I've never had two of the same dream. They're always extremely vivid, and sometimes I can't tell if I'm awake or asleep. There are days when my real life and my dream life have no end and no beginning. I'll wake up and go about my day, but I won't remember going to bed. I know it's me in all of my dreams, but it doesn't feel like me... Like, I'm not in control of my own body. I know I can tell you anything, but it's hard to tell the truth when it feels like everything is a lie."

My therapist looks at me with pain in her eyes, and I know she thinks I'm a nut case.

"You can tell me, Alexa. That's what I'm here for." She crosses her legs, and readies her pen above her pad.

I take a deep breath and continue,"Sometimes I'll wake up and I will be wearing the clothes from the day before. I'll be un-showered, hungry, and tired as hell. Sometimes I'll take a nap on my days off from work and wake up in my car or on the floor." I pause, because I don't want to tell her the whole truth.

"I can't help you if you don't tell me everything Alexa." She uses the tone of voice my mother would use, and it frustrates me.

"Sometimes I wake up covered in gashes and bruises, and I don't know how they got there." I slowly bring my eyes to Mrs. Collins and her expression is unchanged.

"How do you tell the difference between reality and your dreams?"

I look down at my hands and fidget with them,"I... I don't know. I just... Do." 

She scribbles on her notepad and brings her attention back to me," Is there anything in your dreams that is reoccurring? Maybe a certain place or a certain feeling?"

"Well... There are these two men," I recall," I've never seen them, but I'm scared of them."

"What else can you tell me about them?"

"Their names are Sam and Dean Winchester."

sooo that's what I have so far. This is a very rough draft, I literally scribbled this down in 10 minutes. if you haven't already seen in the description this is my first SPN fanfic, and I've legit never read any other spn fanfic. This has probably already been done but idc lol
