And so the Doctor ran. He ran to where no one could find him. Amelia had just died, crushing him.

Elara sighed. "Why can't I just end the chapter with Amelia is dead. The end." She ran her fingers through her hair for like the hundredth time. She glanced at her phone. 11:47. Elara saved the document and shut down her laptop. She picked up her book.

Aurora Baxter

Again she sighed. That was her. Aurora Baxter, but was known as Elara by close friends and family. She put in her headphones and played Dave Matthews to lull her to sleep.

She awakened suddenly hearing a whirring sound. That's impossible she thought. It sounds just like... she slung the covers off of her and grabbed the baseball bat she kept next to her bed and went to investigate the noise.

"Doctor are you sure it's okay to just pop into someone's house like this?" A thick Scottish accent cut the silence.

"Of course Amelia! But where is the famous Aurora?" The British man said digging through some CDs. Elara flicked on the light switch in the kitchen and dropped the bat. Her hands went to her mouth in shock.

"Oh Hello there!" The British man walked over to Elara. "You must be Aurora! Well I'm the Doctor and this is Amelia." He smiled incredulously at her.

Elara shook her head and regained her posture. "I'm sorry but there is no Aurora here and get the hell out of my house!" The Doctor opened her fridge and took out a green apple.

"I hate apples. Apples are rubbish. You know what else is rubbish Amelia?" He looked at Elara. "If you aren't Aurora, why haven't you called the police?" Elara spoke.

"Hmm you're clever. Alright. I'm Aurora. What are you two cosplayers?" Amelia laughed.

"We want to know how you wrote our lives in your stupid little book. What are you an alien or something like that?" Amelia looked at the Doctor for reassurance, but he wasn't there. "Doctor?" Amelia and Elara walked through the house and eventually found him sitting on her bed with her laptop. Elara snatched it away from him.

"This is none of your business! Don't touch my laptop!" She looked at what he was on. Her most recent chapter. The Doctor looked down. "Okay if everything you write is what happens to us. Stop writing." Amelia spoke up.

"Doctor is everything okay?" He jumped up suddenly. "Yes everything is fine! We're leaving Amy!" Elara ran over to the door and slammed it shut startling the two intruders. "Oh no you don't! You two broke into my house and act just like the characters in my book. I want answers." The Doctor sighed in frustration. "I don't know. And that's why we're leaving." He glared at her. Elara opened the door. "Fine. Go." The Doctor and Amelia walked to the blue box. Amelia was the first to enter. The Doctor pulled out some sort of device and held it in the air. The boxes door shut and locked.

"Who are you really?" He towered over Elara. She cowered under his gaze. "What do you mean? I'm an author! I just write stories that pop into my head!" He nodded. "Okay. What you wrote on the laptop, delete it. Please." Elara mustered up some courage. "No. I don't know who you are and how you got in my house but you can't just tell me what to do." The Doctor chuckled a little.

"I'm the Doctor and you should be very. Very afraid." He used the device again and all of Elaras electronics broke. Her laptop. The Doctor unlocked the boxes doors and stepped inside. Elara sprinted in before the doors could shut. "Oi! I didn't say you could come in!" The Doctor shouted. Elara stared in amazement. "It's...it's," the Doctor had a smug look on his face waiting for her to finish her sentence. "It's smaller on the outside!"

"Okay that one's new." He spoke. "Now get out." Elara didn't budge. "What is this? Who are you? What are you?" The Doctor cut her off. "Enough with the questions! Leave!" He opened the doors. "What does it do?" Elara looked around the whole room. The Doctor sighed seeing that she wasn't going anywhere. "It's called the T.A.R.D.I.S. She can travel anywhere in time and space." Elara looked at him wide-eyed.

"It can go to space?" She asked with such amazement. The Doctor smiled. Amelia finally spoke. "Doctor we aren't taking her with us, are we?" He stared at Elara and fixed his bow tie. "One trip. Then you are coming straight back. Got it?" He said. Elara nodded.

"Is your name actually Aurora?" Amelia asked. "On the plaque in your room it said Elara Lucas." Elara smiled. "No Aurora is just my name for my book. My real name is Elara Lucas." The Doctor smiled. "Elara. Like the moon of Jupiter. It's a brilliant name." A young man walked in from one of the many hallways. "Amy you were supposed to wake me up..." he looked at Elara. "Um who us she?" Amy spoke up. "Rory this Elara Lucas. Elara this is Rory Williams. My husband." Elaras eyes widened. "Rory the roman!" Rory looked confused. "Wait how did she know..." the Doctor cut him off and put the little device to her brain. Elara stood there and asked "What are you doing? And what in the world is that? " He pulled it away. "It's a sonic screwdriver, I just scanned your brain." The doctor put on some glasses. "That's impossible. How? Tell me how." Amelia looked at him. "Doctor what's impossible?"

He walked back over to Elara. "How were you there? You're human! That was so long ago!" Elara shouted. "What are you babbling on about?" Amelia looked at her. "He does this a lot." Elara walked towards the console of the T.A.R.D.I.S. "Don't you touch that!" The Doctor shouted. But it was to late Elara placed her hands on the console and a sensational feeling flew through her. Then she blacked out.
