Sanosuke Harada - Festival

Harada's POV

I know I can ask her out today because today is the last day of the festival. Every time I saw her working in the shop or brooming outside of the shop, I wanted to ask her to go out, but I was too shy to ask her.

What if she rejects me and hangs out with someone else.

I was walking towards where she is working and there she is, brooming.

I fix my hair and thought to myself. 'Today's the day, don't back off and run away. She won't reject you.' I took a deep breath in and out.

I slowly walk towards her while managing my thoughts together.

"Hey."

"Oh hey, Harada. How's it going?" She asks.

"It's good so far. How about you?"

"Same here."

"Uhmmmmm, so are you free tonight?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Today is the last day of the festival, so I want to invite you tonight." I scratch the back of my neck.

"Sure. Since I have nothing to do tonight." She blushes.

"Alright, let's meet back here at 7 tonight."

"Okay, see you soon." She smiled happily.

Oh my gosh, I did it. My heart was racing when I ask her, I'm so glad she said yes.

*skip time*

I was wearing a light brown stripe kimono, and I was waiting for her to come.

"Sorry, I am late."

I look up finding (f/n) was wearing a light purple kimono, and her hair was tied up in a bun. 

She's so cute.

"Harada, Harada."

I snap out of my thoughts.

"Huh?"

"Are you okay?" She asked with concern in her eyes.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Let's go."

As we walk, I try to reach my hand with her, but I fail cause I don't have the courage to do it.

"What do you want to do first?" I ask her.

"Let's play some games while eating at the same time." She suggests.

I chuckle, "Sure."

Last, but not least is the fireworks.

"You know where is the best spot when watching fireworks."

"Where?" She asks.

"Up on the rooftop," I smirk.

I climb up on the house rooftop first then pull (f/n) by her hand along with me. We sat there side by side.

"Hey, the fireworks is starting now."

I didn't look at the fireworks, I was looking at her instead.

I blush and took her hand.

"Huh?" 

"I like you, (f/n)," I confess.

She blushes at my confession, "I like you, too Harada."

We stared at each other and lean in for a kiss while the fireworks continuing to spark.
