Kaoru x MC - Don't leave me

A/N: Let's say that you and Kaoru relationship is not going so well that you felt like the space between you and him is getting wider and wider but the reason why he is acting that way because................................................................................................................ (BTW, you thought he was cheating on you, that's why you thought the relationship between you and him are distant.) That's all I'm going to tell you.

Your POV

I thought you had a perfect life, perfect job, and perfect boyfriend. He was also working at the same team as you. You guys had started dating, three years ago. After celebrating third year anniversary, like three weeks later, work had been piling up on your desk which means less time to spend with Kaoru. I started to worry about our relationship with Kaoru because every time at work, I try to make a eye contact with him. He's always avoiding my eye contact which make me curious, what is wrong with Kaoru?

So I decided to follow him to see what is he up to when it is break time.

<<<<<BREAK TIME>>>>>

I saw Kaoru going up to the rooftop so I follow him quietly. You were surprised what you were seeing, I covered my mouth from crying. I saw Kaoru and my best friend were talking to each other and the distance between them were very close.

I look at them and they seem very happy together.

I quietly leave them and ran back to the office, pretending not to notice what happen minutes ago. I saw Kaoru came back, he look at me but I avoid my eye contact this time.

Kaoru POV

(f/n)'s birthday is coming up and I had no idea what to get for her birthday present. So I went to her best friend to ask some advice what to get for her. I don't want to ruin the surprise so I avoided her for a while, I hope I didn't cause any misunderstanding.

"Ohhh, so you want some advice what to get for (f/n)?? Hehe, you are such an awesome boyfriend. I'm glad (f/n) is happy with you right now." She said.

"Yeah, I want to surprise her." I said while blushing.

After the discussion, I went back to the office, I look at (f/n) and somehow she is avoiding my eye contact now. I wonder what's wrong.

Your POV

I left the office a bit earlier than usual because I don't want to face him at home so I decided to pack some of my clothing and head back to my parents house. Also, I left him a note and left the house. I couldn't believe myself that I'm actually leaving him.

Kaoru POV

I saw her leaving the office early, maybe she finished her work early. I can't wait to surprise her tonight. I bet she forgot that today is her special day.

I left the office and went to the bakery store, to buy a cake and a flower shop, to get her favorite flowers. When I came home, the lights were off, I bet she is sleeping so I quietly tip- toe to our bedroom but she wasn't there at all. I went to open the lights and there was no one in the house. I look for her but no sign of her. I guess she headed out for something so I place everything on the table and wait for her.

Half a hour later........

She still hasn't come back yet, what if something happen to her. I ran to the bedroom, to get my jacket when I saw a letter on the table. I read the letter and my eyes widen. She left me?!?!?!?!? Why????? I sat on our bed and think about it. I must ask her tomorrow morning, I need to clear up the misunderstanding between us.

The next morning...................

Your POV

To be honest, I did missed Kaoru a lot but what he has done is unforgivable. I was walking to work when I got there, there was nobody in the office except Kaoru who is staring at me. I quickly walk back out, pretending I didn't see him when he grab my wrist and pull me to the rooftop.

When we got there, I decided to back up and still Kaoru is holding my wrist. I hit my back on the wall and there was no escaping because Kaoru's arm was on the wall.

"Why............................ did you leave me?" He asked.

"................." I didn't say anything, I was keeping my head low.

"I saw you with my best friend yesterday during the break and it seems you guys were very close to each other." I decided to speak. Then I heard a chuckle from him.

"What's so funny, Kaoru? This is serious." I said.

"You are mistaken, (f/n). I would never cheat on you. I just asked your friend for some advice on what to get you for your birthday. You forgot didn't you?? Yesterday was your birthday." He said.

A misunderstanding!!!!!???!??!?!? And I even forgot about my own birthday.

"Oh, Kaoru................................... I'm sorry for misunderstanding you." I said.

"Now that I cleared up the misunderstanding. I can give you the present now." Kaoru said.

"What is it?" I asked.

"This......................" He said and I felt something heavy on my left hand. I look at it and I saw a beautiful ring.

"Aww, Kaoru. Thanks." I said while giving him a peck on the lips but Kaoru put his hand on the head, pushing my lips on his again, deepening the kiss.

"Don't leave me again." He said and I nodded my head and hugged him tightly and he did the same thing.
