Chapter Five: A Day Full of Surprises

~Lucy's POV~

"You and Natsu are going.....TO THE AMUSEMENT PARK!!!" Mira squealed.

"But what about Natsu's motion sickness?" I asked.

"Oh, don't worry, I have connections with some mages who know how to fix that. Here Natsu, drink this,"Mira told us.

"Um, thanks?" Natsu said sceptically.

"No, problem. Now, Lisanna and I have already picked out y'all's outfits. Lucy you will be wearing this," She said handing me my outfit.

"And Natsu, you'll be wearing this," Lisanna said while walking in the room with Natsu's clothes.

"Now shoo! Go get changed, the park is about a miles walk and you only have a few hours there!" Mira yelled at us.

My outfit was a cute purple long sleeved crop top with a metallic silver mini skirt and a pair of nice black, leather knee high boots.

I quickly changed and made sure not to forget my belt, which had my whip and keys on it, just in case we came across some fools.

I pulled my hair into a tight high ponytail, with a pretty silver bow.

I walked out into the living area and saw that Natsu was wearing a black button down shirt with his scarf neatly wrapped around his neck. He was wearing jeans and black converse.

Before I could complement him, Mira came running over and pushed us both out of the door.

I heard Mira squeal from inside "OH HOW KAWAII ARE THEY!!"

Huh, she cracks me up sometimes.

I looked up at Natsu who looked seriously confused about what was going on.

How dense is he?

~Natsu's POV~

Lucy looked hot tonight.

"Um, thanks Natsu?" Lucy squeaked.

"Uh, did I just say you looked hot out loud?" I asked.

"Yeah, kind of," She replied.

Oops. That wasn't meant to happen. Oh well, better now than never.

We stopped for ice cream on the way there. I ended up getting into a fight with the waiter because he didn't give me enough sprinkles.

After getting kicked out of the ice cream parlor, we finally made it to the amusement park. Actually it was more like a fair. Today was Saturday, and we had 5 hours to spend.

"What do you want to do first Lucy?" I asked her.

"OOOO!!! Let's do the Ferris wheel!" She screamed.

"Fine by me," I replied.

We made our way down to the Ferris wheel, when I saw Lucy eying a huge, fluffy cat thing. After the Ferris wheel I'm going to get that fluffy thing for Lucy.

We were in our cart on the ferris wheel, when I hear Lucy squeal.

"Eee! Look how high we are!"
