An explosion.

That is what killed Quinn Marie Hernandez for six months. That is until she decided being dead just wasn't cool anymore.

*Day of explosion*

"Barry that is the wrong test tube." Quinn giggled at her best friends brain fart and went back to putting items on shelves. "Shut it Hernandez. I am just a little frazzled is all. Dr.Harrison Wells is launching his Particle Accelerator tonight."

Barry was obsessed with Dr.Wells. It was like a school girl crush only worse. He worshiped the man. Quinn only admired the guy, nothing like her best friend did. The two of them had been best friends since she beat up the bully picking on Barry in fourth grade.

"And I suspect you wanna go." Quinn inquired.

"I mean, yeah of course I do, but tonight is scary movie night at your place. I would never pass that up."

"Are you being a smart ass Mr. Allen?" Barry walked over to where she was and bumped the shelf causing three glasses to break. "More like dumb ass." She mumbled.

"Whatever lets go get coffee."

Barry and Quinn grabbed their bags and keys. Then proceeded to make Star Wars jokes all the way to the car.

*That night*

"I need to stop by the lab and pick up the rest of your samples and then I will be there alright?"

Quinn didn't know it then, but that was the last normal conversation and the last normal day she would have. She set up her scary movies on her computer then set out lab samples around the computer. It was a game her and Barry would play all the time.

As she set up the last of the samples, her electricity went out causing her to go get candles from downstairs. Once she was down stairs, she flipped the breaker a few times, but nothing happened.

"Well shit." She mumbled.

Quinn grabbed the candles she needed and headed back upstairs. When she finally got up the stairs, all of her windows were glowing a yellow orange. The light caused her entire house to illuminate. Quinn set the candles down and went to examine what was going on outside. That was when she saw it. A giant wave of light coming from S.T.A.R labs.

And it was coming straight towards her. The wave was moving at a rapid pace. Her living room lighting up even more. Before she could get away the wave had hit her. Literally.

Quinn was sent flying into the table where her laptop and lab samples were spread out. She rolled off the table, glass shards everywhere, and dragged herself to where her phone was placed. Call Barry, she thought.

But it was too late.

The phone dropped from Quinn's grip back onto the floor. Her head lolled to the side and that is when she took her last breath.
