Begin Again

Part 3

She coming literally running from the staircase to the back office, nodding to his colleague as a greet while recovering from her panting.

"I'm sorry.. almost late... car problem.." she said tiding up her blazer.

"Naah... it's alright.. not that busy..." he said and give her the company phone and walkie.

"Any thing to handover Mitch?" she said looking at the whiteboard.

"Nothing.. all is good today... aah the VIP already check in.." he said taking off his blazer.

"The artist? Who?" she look at him full interest.

"Not sure... I was not around when they check in.. but the girls literally act all giddy.. talking about how handsome they were... I miss the chance to meet them.."

"More like miss the chance to flirt... right?" she said smilling.

"Nevermind... I'm out... have a date tonight.. poor you... if you not covering the night shift.. I'm sure we could have fun tonight.. his friend Samuel... he really and literally begging me to bring you out girl... can I give him your number?

"I'll pass.. and don't you dare giving my number.. not trusting that playboy"

"Not his fault if the girls a crazy about him... and trust me, he is a nice guy..."

"Too nice... with every girl.. I'll pass that too.. dangerous for my heart"

"You just..." he tried to say something but cut by the phone ring.

She pick up the phone.

"Gieselle speaking.. who... what room.. alright.. just update in the guest profile note.. thanks" she end the call and look at him.

"I thought the guest from 2106 already check out?"

"He extend the stay.. and seriously... this guest is so fussy.. I meet him at the lounge and spend my good 30 minutes attending is ridiculous complaint about the room"

"What's his complaint?"

"The socket is too far and he can't charge his phone" he said rolling his eyes.

Gie just smile looking at him.

"Enough of him today... more I think of the guest... I'm afraid it will ruin my mood.. I'm out... other than that is all good.. bye girl" he said making his way out like a model walking.

"Enjoy your date.." she said still looking at him out from the office.

Once Mitch out from the office, she concentrates on her computer, checking all the report and checking her other task. The knocked on the door stop her and while waiting for the person to come in, she look at the clock hanging on the wall. It's already pass 1 o'clock.

"Ms Gie... coming for supper?" Jack his staff asking standing at the door.

"What about the other?" she said standing from her seat and doing a bit of stretching to loose the sore muscles.

"They done.. left me.. want to join?" he said smilling.

"Alright.. let's go" she take the walkie and the phone with her.

Out from the office and going through the lobby to the staff lounge. Might as well do her round around the lobby area, to make sure everything is in order. At the lobby there's a group of people talking and laughing but luckily not that noisy and no other guest apart from their group. Randomly smiles and nodding as a guesture acknowledging the guest, Gieselle and Jack pass the guest crowd and continue walking but she stop when someone call her name. Make her turn and look at the person who were already behind her.
