The beginning of and unsure jorney

The year was 164X and a young man was on his first adventure through the once treatourous lands of bal'ghada, on his quest to find two important things a friend to share his previous adventures and to make new ones with them and he hopes dearly that he will one day find his one true love. The lands of Bal'ghada were once known as the worst posible place to ever stumble upon, but in the year 159X a small gathering of adventerors have freed as much of the captured lands that were once held by the Shong clan. Now everyone is freeto do as they please and do as they wish with new laws in place and one of the adventurers staying as guardian and cheif of these lands. As strange as this may sound our young adventurer here is actually the grandchild of the cheif who has shared many tails with him and wants him to start his own new adventures. The adventurer, very eager to leave, has been gathering supplies for his quests and is set on leaving imediatly. He gathers all his materials, says his goodbyes and sets off to find his first adventure with what he has and the steel sword that his grandfather had used in his quests beiofore. As he passes through a large arch he sees a glisten in the distance and slowly draws his sword and get ready for a fight. As he gets closer to the reflection he sees that it is a somewhat rusty sheild that has possibly not been used in almost a decade. He noticed that it was connected to a forearm bone. he decided to leave it and continute his journey until he ended up at a cave system.
