Sorry I haven't uploaded in a while, I went on a camping trip with my class and caught a cold. Anyway here it is, ENJOY :)

After discovering the Demon child Kayley forgot all about her favourite dolls lying by the willow and ran with Julian back towards the mannor house.

The mannor was not far away from the orchard and it only took around ten minutes to reach it's front doors. The doors were pure oak with rusty metal handles and a brass knocker in the shape of a lion.
Kayley was beaming from ear to ear, indescribably excited to show her parents her new friend but Julian was not feeling so great. He shuffled nervously next to her fiddling with his horns and checking his nails.
"Stop worrying!" She said "It'll be fine!"
"Yes Kayley? Is that you?" Her mother called from inside "I'm in your fathers study come in!"

"C'mon " she said to Julian , tugging at his sleeve, pulling him through a the  door and into the hall.
The hall was absolutely ginormous, it's red and white marble floor shining in the light of a crystal chandelier that hung from the ceiling. At the far end was a large staircase with a blood red carpet with golden pattern and a suit of arms stood proudly at the top.
"This way!" Kayley hissed , pulling Julian out of his state of awe, you could tell he'd never seen anything like it before.

"Mummy look! I found a boy by the Willow!" She exclaimed as she dragged the demon boy into the study

Her mother turned her head up from her knitting and her eyes instantly widened in shock "Oh my word! Charlie get in here! You must see this!"

Kayley's father, Charlie, came rushing into the study from the lobby panting heavily, his hair crumpled.
"What is it Veronica?" He asked, concerned
"Look!" She said, gesturing to Julian
He gasped in shock.
"Oh my lord! If I'm not mistaken that is a Demon Child!" He exclaimed, recoiling slightly

"Hello!" Julian said with a smile
Kayley's father slowly backed into the hallway, eyes widened, his steps creaking on every floorboard.
"Oh Charlie! Don't be so rude! This boy here is our guest, no matter what he is!" She turned to Julian "Hello there! What might you're name be?"
"Julian." He said sweetly

"Veronica!" Kayley's father hissed "be careful! He's a demon I tell you! Honestly don't you read? He could kill us all!!"
"Just because I don't spend 3/4 of my day in that damned library of yours doesn't mean I don't read! He's only a child Charlie, we must help him!"

"I found him crying by the orchard Mama!" Kaley piped up as Veronica shot Charlie a piercing look.
"He said he didn't remember much but I said you'd both let him stay here!" She continued

"Well of course he can stay!" Her mother announced, ruffling Julian's hair "what do you say? Do you want to be a Dashground?"
Behind the pair Kayley's father sighed at his wife's stupidity and walked off, giving up on winning the argument.
"Y-yes please M'am" Julian Replied, bowing in respect.

"Then it is done!" She announced clasping her hands together as she stood up from her silk chair "Now, Kayley, why don't you take your new brother on a tour of the mannor. I must speak with your father."

"Of course M'ma, thank you!" She giggled excitedly, dragging Julian out "C'mon Julian! We'll start with the kitchen."

And that was when it all started....
