Ch.5

Leslie POV

We went shopping and got many necessities  I would need while on tour. Mom and dad have also been home often which is a surprise since they are rarely home.

Also Marce has been here since he says 'he won't be able to see me when I go touring' but I bet he will surprise me somehow.

So now I've finished packing my two luggages and a carry on which is just a backpack. I leave tomorrow at 10 am but am supposed to be at the airport by 8:00 or 8:30 so that I get through security check quick.

So I showered already in the night and have my clothes ready for tomorrow.

Now I just need a good nights rest.

In the morning

I'm woken up by Em, Jules, Marce, and even Rome jumping on my bed and yelling at me to wake up.

After the got out I quickly changed and went downstairs for a quick breakfast. We also joked around and it felt great to be together again like old times.

After we all finished we quickly all brushed our teeth (thank god we all have our own in suite.

So we rush into the truck with Marce and Rome carrying my bags and start our way to the freeway.

At the airport

Once at the airport we park the car with 5 minutes to spare before it struck 8:30. We head towards the entrance to check in. Once I'm checked in we head to a bit more secluded area to say our goodbyes for now.

"Leslie, my baby, we may not be around often but, we love you baby and I'm proud of you and know you will do good at MAGCON" mom says tearing up.

I hug here tight so she knows it from the bottom of my heart.

"You know I'm not good with words mija but, you'll rock it. I know it you've always done the best" my dad says with his Spanish accent. While Rome, Em except Marce scoff.

I hug him and stay their until Em starts talking.

"Rome and I did a speech but can't seem to find it so just so you know we love you and we'll be rooting for you all the way from Cali" she says as her and Rome quickly envelope me in a big hug.

Jules gives me a card that says read later on. So I just hug her and she starts lightly crying during the hug. It breaks my heart to leave them all.

Now Marcy he's just like dad they can't seem to ever be good with words. So he shrugs and makes a heart sign with his hands and I know that means 'I love you and know you will do good little sis'. So I go and hug him and he gives me a peck on the top of my head.

After all these things my parents and brothers and sisters I look like Niagara Falls. They are just so weird but right for us. After all Normal is weird and Weird is normal.

So we hug and say I our final goodbyes and I walk through the security check area in supposed to be heading to. Then after to the gate area I should be heading to.

I pass many stores and gift shops and such. I also look for Bart since he said he was here waiting for me to fly with him to our first stop.

So once I spot him I head over to see him.

"Hi, your Leslie right? I'm Bart the founder of MAGCON" he says as he shakes my hand.

"Yeah, I'm Leslie nice to meet you" I say.

"The pleasures mine. Also wanted to know if you'd like to stop at Starbucks to grab a quick snack or we could do McDonald's. Which ever is better" he says offering.

"Any place is closer I'm fine with whatever" I say chuckling.

He laughs as well and heads towards Starbucks. We get in line and I start thinking what I should order. I'm stuck between a Carmel ribbon crunch frappucino or a passion tea lemonade which I order with 6 raspberry pumps. Man, those are good.

So once it's my turn after Bart ordered I order a passion tea lemonade and a banana nut bread. It's light and gives me a chance to digest it so that I can order a Frappucino.

As we wait me and Bart make small talk. Like when did I start make YouTube videos (which I would have thought he would have known) and if I'm excited for the tour.

Once we are called up we grab our food and head to the little waiting area to board.

But it seems luck wasn't on our side since the call us just in the moment to start boarding.

So we head towards the appropriate terminal we are supposed to go to.

As we are finally allowed to board we are split up and I have a window seat. Yay!

I settle down and just wait for the plain to lift off.

And once it does all I think about is Im about to start this journey I never expected to be on

So how are you liking it so far? Interesting or nah? But guess what? I'm down with summer school yay!!!! I passed with a C which is good since it was my first time taking geometry and I'm going to be a senior. Anyways I started a one shot with songs book. So check that out.
