Thoughts spiralled Aaron Dingles mind as he woke up at exactly 10:30am. Mainly, it was based around events that had happened yesterday such as the baby-sitting & seeing Gordon unexpectedly. He was still trying to get around the fact that Gordon and his mum were still seeing each other, until he remembered what Robert had said the previous evening. Having a surrogate with my boyfriend eh? He thought, he liked the idea in a weird way. Because of course, he had the experience of looking after baby Leo and Jackson's god son. He had that experience which was always bound to be a good thing. He'd have never have thought Robert Sugden would suggest it so soon though, it was a quick idea considering they'd only done the one night baby sitting Johnny.
He walked down stairs into the backroom who was shortly greeted by his mum. "You alright love, sleep well?"
Still sucked up in his own thoughts, he shakes his head at the idea of responding.
"Aaron?" Chas says, a little unsure of her son's intentions to answer her question.
Aaron shaked his head and responded quickly "yeah, uh, good, alright thanks"
After a few seconds of silence Chas turns to ask "You sure? You seem a bit off this morning, do you wanna talk about it?"
Chas couldn't help but assume it was because of Gordon, she knew he wasn't on good terms with his father. She knew the anger in Aaron's face the other day and she just couldn't imagine what would've erupted if Aaron had chosen to stay at the woolpack when he saw him.
"I'm fine mum, it's nothing. I've just got a lot on my mind that's all, nothing too deep" he says as he turns the kettle on for a cuppa.

Robert walked into the cafe to get his usual morning wake up, an americano of course. He walked up to the counter to be greeted by Carly Hope.
"You alright, Carly? Didn't expect to see you working here today. David not need you for any shifts or?"
She smiled. Carly always liked working at David's but she also didn't mind serving up some piping hot coffee. "Ah, nice to see you too Robert!" She said with a laugh. "Actually, David doesn't really need me today as the shop isn't as busy as it usually is and my dad could use more hands over here, I could also do with the extra cash"
Robert chuckled. "Ah money, the joys of earning money eh. Two jobs, lucky girl, you must feel flustered!"
"Yeah exactly. You used to be living it up with the whites didn't ya? Bet that was the life and all, fancy!" She paused and took a quick sigh. "So uh, you just here to chit chat or are you here for a bit of wake me up americano?"
Robert looked away to take in what Carly had said, life it was indeed. Living with a rich family. With a wife and her...crazy son...and her father who he never really saw eye to eye with. He laughed at the thought and turned back to Carly. "Ah, you know me Carls, always here for my americano, nothing else, unless I'm here on the odd date with Aaron"
"Knew it" Carly smiled. "That will be £4.20, please"
Robert had always been much of a talker, finding ways to talk to the other villagers was a blessing to him, in some way. At least nowadays he feels as if he can. Before when he was living with the whites he felt as if people would see him as a snob. Of course he always had that smirky, cocky side to him but that was his personality.
He felt a vibrate in his pocket and picked up his phone to see a text from Aaron.
A: Drinks later?
Robert smirked, and quickly typed back, "Hotton...?" "Woolpack?"

Shortly after, Robert walked out of the cafe only to be face to face with Chrissie.
"Still not moved on?" He joked.
"Moved on from you? Oh that's a good one, I moved on from you ages ago Robert, get over yourself. How does Aaron even put up with you with that constant smug talk of yours?" She said with a eye roll and a laugh.
"Well he's much more fun to be with if that's what you mean, at least he can take my smug talk whilst you can't" He said.
Chrissie turned away for a minute and chuckled. "See, this is why we're not together anymore, you're both perfect for one another" She paused. "Remember me when you and him have split up yeah?"
"Split up?" Robert said in amusement, he paused for a bit. "You really think me and Aaron are gonna split up? Aw, I appreciate your efforts to be concerned. It just so happens that me and Aaron are actually taking a step forward in our lives and considering getting a surrogate. Um, what was that you said? Splitting up or something?" He laughed in amusement as he walked away from her before she could reply.
Chrissie looked as Robert walked away. She was in disbelief. Okay, she didn't give a damn about him anymore. She couldn't even stand just speaking to him for a couple of minutes let alone being face to face with him. Was it really true?

Aaron Dingle was just adjusting his tie when he received a text. He pulled it out of his trouser pocket to see a text from Robert.
R: You ready? I'm here.
Aaron rolled his eyes at the sight of Robert's text. "I will be ready if you let me get ready" he mumbles to himself. He began to wonder why he bothered dressing up so nicely just for a few drinks with his boyfriend, it was hardly a fancy meal, he thought.

He walked out of the backroom and into the woolpack where he saw Robert standing there, wasn't really dressed smart at all but casual. He walked over to Robert who was in awe of how good Aaron looked.
Robert grinned and smirked at Aaron and said "you didn't have to go that far"
Confused at what Robert meant, he turns to him with a look as if to say "what do you mean?"
Robert sighed. "You know what I mean, this. Suit"
Aaron looked away and turned back to face Robert. "Oh soz, should I go and change? I didn't make an effort just for nothing ya know!"
"Alright, Aaron. Calm down. I'm not saying you should change your clothes. In fact you look pretty good. And by pretty good I mean, FIT" Robert replies pulling Aaron in for a kiss.
They lock lips for a few minutes and pull away. "Alright so are we just gonna stand up on our own two feet or are we actually gonna sit down somewhere?" Aaron says.

After a few drinks, Robert starts a new conversation. "I bumped into Chrissie earlier"
Aaron took a quick sip of his beer and put the glass down. "Why are you telling me this?" He paused. "Are we just gonna sit and talk about your ex or are we gonna have a proper drink and talk about decent stuff?"
Robert laughs. "Hey, no need to be hasty. I was actually getting somewhere you know" he pauses to take a sip of his drink. "She thinks we're gonna split up" he says with a chuckle "and that's when I told her about the surrogate thing we're planning"
After a pause. He realized what he had said, he can see the instant reaction in Aaron's face. He could sense millions of questions being thrown his way. "You did what?"
