As usual Sarah wakes up and drives to school with her mom. The only thing important about her school day was when she walked into Biology and Thomas smiled at her. The rest isn't even worth mentioning. Just the usual.
What Sarah was excited for the most was her meeting with the book club. It's 6:50 so Jake should be here any moment.
She walks downstairs when she sees her phone light up.
Jake: I'm here come outside.
Sarah: be there in a sec!
Jake: did you read up until chapter 10?
Sarah: yes mom
Sarah walks downstairs and opens up her door to see Jake sitting in a small shiny black car. The license plate says "I<3books". "Really I heart books?" Sarah asks as she enters his car. "Judge all you want" Jake said, "I'm your ride."
They arrive at a huge house somewhere around 10 minutes away from her house.
"Wow" she says
"It's Steven's"
"It's amazing"
"By the way" he says, " people think that books clubs usually have ugly nerds (( no offense I love books )) but this is a special book club and we recruit our members, so when you walk in just don't be surprised if we look different than you expected." He says in a calm manner.
Sarah walks through the heavy set of double doors. The first face she sees is... Thomas "Really you're in the book club?"
"Hey we all have our hobbies.... Can I talk to you upstairs after the meeting?" He asks looking a bit nervous.
"Sure but the pleasure will be yours" she says walking past him.
"Okay! We have a new member so let's all say our names and one thing about ourselves!"
"Okay" everybody responds.
"I'm Jake Redstone, I'm 17 and my favorite food is tacos." Some members laugh.
"Steven Rogers, I'm 16 and my favorite color is red." <this is what Steven looks like | V
