Chapter 17

~1 week later

Chandler's POV

It has been a week since James woke up and he is now aloud to go home. He can't move too much yet or lift heavy objects because of his ribs. The doctors were surprised at how fast his ribs healed. They weren't as much so with the swelling because it wasn't too bad.

James' dad was found and immediately taken into police custody for questioning. The police not enough proof it was Aiden who did what he did, he is still having a trial though. The trial is going to be after James' ribs heal more and he can walk strait. (The pain from his ribs makes it hard to walk, and plus he was bruised a lot all over his body which I didn't mention before)

I carried James up the stairs too his room because he couldn't go up them alone. (Yes, James is now back home because his father is gone, can we just take a moment to celebrate.)

I set him on his bed and kiss the top of his head.

"Thank you." James says to me after I pull away.

"For what?" I ask.

"For everything, for not giving up on me, for believing I would make it out of the coma, and actually doing as everyone asks instead of fighting against them like you usually do." He looks at me with a cheeky grin, I give him a playful glare back. "And also for being there for me, I couldn't even imagine what it would be like without you. I still don't think I deserve you, don't interrupt me," He knew I would try to stop him from saying that, I didn't say anything though. "I realized that it doesn't matter if I deserve you or not, it's that I love you and hopefully you love me."

"Of course I love you. Don't ever think I don't OK? Not even if we get into a fight, I will always love you." I give him a long passionate kiss, that is until we hear simultaneous 'awww' I spin around to see Mary and Jenny standing in his bedroom door.

"How long have you two been standing there?" James asks fidgeting in his seat.

"Only enough to hear it all!" Jenny says with excitement "You two are so cute!" She then runs over to me catching me by surprise and giving me a huge hug. I don't take long to crouch down to her level since I was so much taller than her, me at 5' 8 and her 5' 3 and return the hug. (I know he's like 5' 4 irl, but I wanted to make him a 'bit' taller and make him 5' 8)

I tear up, because I haven't even talked to her that much and James said she is very shy and that it can take a few months for her to fully trust someone even if she sees them every day. I have only talked to her about 2-3 times since the dinner, and she ran up to me giving me a hug? I'd say she trusts me a lot.

After she's done hugging me she gives James a hug and runs out of James' room to I'm assuming her room.

I still had teary eyes and when I look up to Mary I could tell she was thinking the same thing I was. I looked at James, and the same thing.

Mary walks over to me and giving me a huge hug. "Well I guess now you have the 'Jenny approval', and you two have barely talked at all?"

"No, only maybe 2-3 times since the dinner" I say with a huge grin on my face.

"That's amazing, I'm guessing James had told you about her shyness?"

"Yeah, he has. I am just amazed at how fast she accepted me."

"Same here." she states.

"Mom....maybe, possibly, can Chandler stay the night? Pleeeeaase...."

"Well......I guess since he has the 'Jenny approval'..." She says with a huge grin, her statement making us all laugh. "He can stay and help you out since you can't walk around too much yet"

"ThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyou!" James says very happy. His mom just smiles and says goodnight and walks out.

I change into a pair of James' dads' old sweats, without a shirt, and then crawl into bed next to James and he cuddles up into my chest.

"Goodnight, Love you" He whispers to me

"Night my love, love you too" I whisper back planting a kiss on his head.

~The next morning

It's about 10:00 when I feel someone shaking me and plant a kiss on my lips. I immediately kiss back knowing who it was.

"Come on, get up. I'm hungry and I can't walk. I can smell bacon from here and I can't take it anymore"

"Fine, if I have too" I say sarcastically as I sit up with a smile on my face. I rub my eyes, stretch and then standing up looking at an adorable James with his arms outstretched. I pick him up and carry him into the kitchen sitting him on a bar stool. I fix him and I two plates of food.

After a few minutes of eating Mary comes in with a worried expression on her face.

"Everything alright?" I ask her making James look up from his food, now looking at her with worry.

"Um...kind of." she asks with a small voice.

"Mom what's wrong, are you OK?" James asks her.

"Yeah, I'm fine. But, Chandler I think you should go home, I'm not kicking you out or anything, your mom needs you. It's really important."

"What's wrong, did something happen!? Is everyone OK!?" I ask her extremely worried.

"Yeah, everything's fine, everyone's OK, she wants you to see for yourself." She says this and hands me a shirt since I was currently shirtless. "You can give the clothes back later, you just need to go now."

I quickly put the shirt on,"OK, I'll be back as soon as I can" I say as I give Mary a kiss on the cheek and James one on the lips, and I run out the door running in the direction of my house wondering what could possibly be so important.

A/N: Hey! Tori her! So....cliff hanger, how do you like it? :P What could have possibly happened that Gina needs Chandler home so quick? Tell me what you think. I will try to post again later (it's currently 1:02 A.M. oops.... Oh well! I made this chapter like super long because of that two week gap I had and the last couple chapters being so short. Like I said, tell me what you think the reason Chandler has to be home so quick. I hope you liked the chapter and.....
